I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a beautiful sea view that really stood out. Breakfast offered a good variety and was fresh each morning. The cleaning service was consistent and kept everything spotless. I’d definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

The Half board was nice, there was always something good on the menu. My 2 problems with the hotel were: 1. The beds were like sleeping on a park bench and 2. The walls were thin enough to hear our neighbors talk, sneeze and everything else.

Hotel is close to the beach. Room is good enough space for 2 people. A bit lack of amenities but maybe this is enough ? Breakfast is good. Many options but dinner is just ok as a bit of lack of flovour. For over all it’s good to stay.

Perfect stay in a very quiet, family friendly area - still with great options for Food, Nightlife and Sightseeing (castles, caves) nearby. Beautiful, small beach, not overcrowded. Hotel: nice pool directly at the beach. Excellent service and friendly staff. Good food with lots of variety and international/local options Three things that gave a slightly negative touch: - Room on the first floor does not have much of a sea view. Ask for rooms on higher floors - No mentionning in hotels.com that chairs (14EUR/wk) and towels (6EUR/wk) have to be paid separately - I think people would agree if this would be included in the price (small difference) - Impression that the hotel saves on quality of the food - e.g., no fresh orange juice in the land of oranges - overall quality of the food still ok

This place will nickel and dime you to death, want a towel, you have to rent it, want Wifi you have to rent it, want water with dinner, you have to buy it, want to use the room safe, you have to rent it. Beds are like a concrete slab, you have to call the desk to get a second pillow. Most other hotels offer these amenities for free, not this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Driving past the other hotels on the return transfer, this hotel was definitely in a great location and looked much better in comparison. The staff were fantastic and all very friendly, the manager was also lovely. Only slight downside was waking up to noisy neighbours most mornings due to thin walls. Other than this, excellent facilities, great staff and a fantastic location. Would highly recommend. My girlfriend was even surprised with a bottle of champagne which was left in our room on her birthday which was down totally off their own back and was not requested :)

Good hotel, breakfast, and a calm location. Perfect for a couple's vacation and away from the hordes of German tourists. Beautiful nature and cave. Only complain is that I booked a room with sea view and got a room in the first floor with blocked view. This was fixed in the second night.

Loved the hotel. Rooms are a little outdated. The view over the entire beach was wonderful. The dinner and breakfast buffet was excellent.

When we arrived we were given a sea view room that looked straight out into the dining room roof. The director spoke to us and ensured that we would be moved the following morning. He was true to his word and the rooms/view were stunning. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and drinks good. Could include more cocktails in all inclusive. Location was brilliant, literally on the beach. Area around is quiet but very relaxing. 20 minute walk to the caves is a must. Pool area is lovely and we would definitely go back.

Canyanel is not a usual destination for the British tourist, we have just completed two weeks at the Castell Royal Universal, whilst the staff are friendly and accommodating there lack or willingness to converse in English is a stark contrast to their willingness to speak in German, French and Swiss, clearly we were not welcome. The beds in this reported 4 star hotel are firm, not what we expected of a 4 star hotel The food is good and their is sufficient variety to suit all palettes, the Entertainment consists of good quality external acts 4 nights a week, there is on one night Bingo it is at a cost per card but their are enough prizes keeps it interesting but still fun. The other nights consist of music from the entertainment rep personnel music collection, but all personal song requests are generally met .Be warned the bars close at midnight on the dot so not a party place. Canyamel is a nice place there are caves near by but we didn't venture to far from the I hotel and beach. Would we go back to Canyanel yes, if we wanted a quite location with a nice beach, if you are planning on going try and contact the hotel well in advance of your trip and book a poolside sunlounge chair, you do have to pay but at least your set for the stay and you don't have to battle with our EU cousins for a space in the garden area
