The stay was pleasant with friendly staff. The hotel was clean, and you could literally see the staff cleaning at all times to ensure the cleanliness is of utmost importance for the hotel. Recommended.

When checking in, I was changed to another room which was registered in someone else's name, when having breakfast, my room name was not the same as the name registered in my name causing confusion in confirming the room name which caused a 20 minute wait to go to breakfast

Really had a wonderful time here. The room is okay but the hotel’s ambience, architecture, layout, interior and design are superbbb! Pool is extremely nice and huge. Breakfast was amazing with various selection of foods. Definitely gonna repeat again in the future.

Stayed for 3D2N. Asked for early check in at 1330 but need to wait until 1430 for the room. Went to the game room for billiard but the #of balls were incomplete and the snooker table seems need some repairment (balls would fall directly to the floor; or stuck in the pipe). No alcohol in any of the hotel restaurants. Room was spacious, clean and good natural lighting. However at night was a bit dark due to minimum lights. Breakfast was great with lots of options from malay, chinese and western. Restaurant gets crowded very quickly (there were ~4corporate gatherings during my stay). Hence early 7am breakfast would be safer. Gym area was great with lots of equipment - note that the hotel offers gym membership for public as well. Guests can join the Zumba class for an additional MYR30. Swimming pool closes at 8pm. Was crowded with kids and families from morning till ~7pm. Note that most of the hotel visitors are moslem, hence mostly wears a fully-covered swimsuit. Bertam Water park is walking distance, with ticket price for adult at MYR45. Room facing the water park was a bit noisy, with water park closes at 5pm. Also note the water park was mostly crowded with kids and families, mostly wearing fully-covered swimsuit. Tried the hot air balloon for MYR100. Ride took ~7mins and view was just okay. Nothing special. Overall nice stay but location was a bit far from the Georgetown (~1h drive). Food orders need to be picked up at the guardhouse (~2mins walking from lobby under the sun heat) as online food drivers were not allowed to come into the lobby.

Beautiful hotel, very worth it and I didn't expect to get such a cheap price with the traveloka website. All facilities are complete and worth it for children

Went to the in-house restaurant and asked if they could send the food to my mom’s room since it’s just a few steps away they said no, which was fine. I waited quite a while for my meal, didn’t want it to get cold. When I brought it to my mom’s room, the cucur udang came in one big piece with no cutlery. I went back and asked how we were supposed to eat it without any utensils. But another staff stood in and helped, apologised then sent cutlery to my mom’s room. Kudos to that staff! But the cucur udang was way too oily compared to the one at the KL branch. Really disappointing. The whole place looked so dull definitely not because of the weather, but because they didn’t switch on all the lights for some reason. The hotel is new, but the service was inconsistent and inconvenient. I had to go to the front desk a few times because my room card kept not working. Mind you I didnt even place the card near to my phone. But yeah. My room was on level 2 and quite far from the lift, so going to the counter for help was really troublesome. Overall, it was a bad experience for me.

The hotel staff is very friendly, the view and hotel pool are very big and beautiful. Only the breakfast food is not satisfactory in terms of taste..

Suggest to have an exit door at B floor in the future, quite difficult to get in the car when raining season. Need to go lobby and go to parking lot.

Actually, this is the second time I've stayed at Bertam Resort again.. and this time I stayed at this hotel with all my children.. this time I was disappointed with the comfort of the room.. the scary thing was the first night, suddenly someone knocked on the headboard of our room very loudly... remember there is a mystic.. scary too... the second night was the same at 10 o'clock there was a sound of people playing ping pong near the headboard when the receptionist looked like we couldn't talk loudly or laugh.. we talked in whispers, even in the library there was someone next door who wanted to sleep deeply... seriously... we are on holiday why is this like that... very stressful situation... the children were disappointed... and then at 5 am there was a snooze sound that wouldn't stop and suddenly the sound of someone delirious very loudly near the room before... at 7 am our room alarm sounded... but next door again there was a loud knock on the headboard... as if he was in our room... very annoying already at 7 am... don't want the alarm to sound instead of 3 am... it's annoying when you sit down My own room at home is more comfortable... this is like being stalked...
