The bathroom has multiple issues: missing tile grout around the shower, groult lines filled with gunk. Shower head sprays everywhere, and shower door will not stay closed. Our other issue is the $3.99/day charge for "self parking"...just a regular hotel parking lot. Not clearly visible on the website. It says "self parking available"...you have tyo dig further into the website to fing the charge. Did some research and other Hilton properties in the area has this self parking daily charge. So, wasn't real pleased with that...

Property was clean. There was a foul smell in the lobby due to a malfunctioning ice machine during my visit. Other than that it was a good experience.

Broken desk light. Terrible curtain situation. Did not offer full privacy. Alarm clock went off at 6:00 am and we didn’t set it. Empty Kleenex box. Stopper in bathtub was broke.

The sheets were dirty we counted 8 hairs in the bed when we pulled the sheets back and the lady put new sheets on our bed acted like it was a huge inconvenience to put clean sheets on our bed. Also the bed is broken cut my leg on it. No extra towels this is so bad for a hotel that cost $202 a night just stay somewhere else.

Out of the 2 elevators they have, one was not working. The breakfast was small and the pancake maker was out of service. We will not be back.

I reserved and paid for my room approximately 2 weeks prior to my stay. When I arrived I was informed that corporate had implemented a charge for parking in their lot as of that same day. Though the amount wasn’t outrageous it was an added expense without warning. Lubbock is not Las Vegas so why is paying to park on property even a thing? I could have easily booked my stay at the property right next door without having to pay for parking. The bathroom glass door was damaged nearly falling off its henge. The bathroom was dirty with mold. Breakfast was fine.

The one thing I didn’t like was paying a stupid parking fee of less than $4. Just add it to the room rate. I would still stay there for $4/night more. I’d never stayed at a Tru before. I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities and the rooms overall. The front desk staff was excellent.

The only thing I liked about this property was the mattress. It was very comfortable. The room was tiny. And it is outrageous that you have to pay $3.99 for a parking spot. I won’t recommend. Sorry Hilton you missed the ball on this one.

The location is great, rooms have laminate flooring, that’s a plus in my opinion. Customer service is helpful.

There was no insation/sound barrier between walls and also between floors (as floors were wood laminate), everything little sound came thru into room. Showerhead was hard to adjust. Bed not most comfortable.

The hotel over was okay. I’ve stayed here several times due to the affordability. But there’s always been room for improvements. This stay I was particularly shocked when I arrived and was told I needed to pay for parking when the booking advertised free parking. My issue is not the decision to charge for parking but the false advertising that the hotel offers free parking and then slaps you with the fee at check in.

We always stay at Tru when traveling and this was the worst by far! Nothing was stocked as far as water and snacks that are normally available for customers. We had to leave to go get water and other things needed when they should have been available at the desk service area. No fire pits outside so we were cold while hanging out outdoors. The shower walls had hair stuck all on the walls YUCK! I was very disappointed in this location for Tru!

I don't have a lot to say about Tru hotels, because they are basically perfect. The only thing I noticed in our room is that the lamp for the workspace was missing, and the staff was surprised, and said they would fix that. I should have just gone downstairs to work, because the lounge area is roomy, comfortable, and quiet.
