Had a pleasant stay at Dorsett. The rooms were clean , the staff friendly, and the location convenient. A few small details could be improved, but overall it offered great value and a comfortable stay.

Location was perfect, room was clean, breakfast was okay. However! I have an issue with the male reception. He was wrongly set my RM200 deposit into a sale transaction instead of pre-authorization hold, meaning my deposit is charged into my CC. Now after a month I'm still waiting for the refund of my deposit from the hotel. This is so unpleasant! So be careful when you pay for a deposit, make sure it was not a sale transaction or better give it in cash! Also the reception was not friendly and not informative, he didn't inform which card is for the elevator, which card is for the room, and which card is for power (we stayed in Dorsett Residence). So we were confused why does the elevator wont work, turned out we have to use different card for it. Thanks to the bell boy who explained it to us. It should be the reception jobdesc to inform such things, but none of the information came from him

Best hotel in Bukit Bintang, very close to Pavilion

Close to Bukit Bintang, a short walk to get there, but if you bring your parents, they might get a bit tired. I don't know how to compare to other 4-star hotels, but the service and facilities provided are less satisfying for that price, maybe because it's in the tourist area. When I stayed on the top floor, it was noisy for some reason and quite disturbing, but in terms of cleanliness, air conditioning, and other things were good, there were no problems.

The location is quite close to the Pavilion. It takes about a 10-minute walk to get to the Pavilion. However, it's not ideal for older adults because the road is uphill. It's still okay for young people. The ambiance inside and outside the hotel, including the hallways, looks dated. It probably needs an upgrade. The impression doesn't live up to the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The slippers are very thin for a 5-star hotel.

The room was quite old but spacious. The bathroom is okay. Walking distance to big malls, Pavilion & TRX. Good hawker is nearby. Overall, I would recommend this place. The variety of breakfast is just standard.

The soundproof is horrible, the whole night someone was knocking on the wall up to 2am, from 4am onwards the other guests were screaming in the hallway and kept on opening and closing the doors. Could not get any sleep at all.

A pleasant experience with family staying overnight at Dorsett KL...

building is too old and not well maintain. lift door looks broken and vibrate when open or close. sorrounding area also bad, below my expextation, pedestrian is not flat, car park close narrow and not flat the pedestrian.

4 Star feels like 5 Star Hotel in Bukit Bintang I stayed with 10 other people (yes, I'm in a big group). The room is quite large for a group of 3. You can also have all the people at the same one room and not feeling too crowded The bathroom is also big enough, that's a plus Hotel located near Pavilion and all other tenants in Bukit Bintang which only need 5 minutes of brisk walk. Very very recommend to ease up strolling around Bukit Bintang area. Please do use comfy footwear I also happen to use the facilities here (gym and pool) which small but really spot on for usage. The staff is very responsive, mostly are fluently bilingual so foreigners don't have to worry, really answer every questions that I've ask and very reliable. For the safety, I guess it's safe enough to walk around alone or even at night. As a girl, IT'S VERY IMPORTANT. Definitely going to have another trip here because it was all worth the price‼️
