I booked this hotel for medical reasons at Siloam. I didn't read reviews before buying. There were small cockroaches everywhere in the unit. I actually made peace with the small cockroach problem because I understand that small cockroaches are difficult to eradicate. What was really disappointing was when I arrived, they told me about the facilities: a pool, gym, and sauna. The gym and sauna require reservations. Then, on the first day I arrived, I immediately booked for 8 PM, and they said okay, I'll let you know later. I waited and didn't hear back. Then I went downstairs to swim. I asked, and they said yes because the sauna is "private," blah blah blah. Okay, I didn't go that night. The second day I booked again for 4 PM, and they said they would let you know, but there was no news. Okay, I didn't ask anymore. If it's not available when guests arrive, don't even call it a facility! This hotel is not suitable for those who want a staycation and enjoy the hotel facilities because there really aren't any. It's only suitable for those who have a need. But for the same price, you can still get a better hotel. I was just tired, and I intended to use the sauna for 15 minutes at most, but it felt like it wasn't being taken into consideration. They say "privacy," but what does that mean for guests? A really cheap aparthotel in downtown Jakarta, but don't expect the service to be amazing. Review of Room 1106. Cons: 1. The lobby is warm; in Jakarta's hot weather, you'd expect it to be cool. 2. There are three elevators, but only one is working, leading to long waits, so you have to use the service elevator with the staff to carry dirty towels. 3. Entering the unit, it's old but well-maintained, but not the cleanest. For those who are squeamish, it might be a problem because there are stains on the curtains and the carpet is sticky. 4. The curtains don't have tiles, so the view from and outside is obvious. 5. The additional lock/latch on the door is broken. 6. The main door won't close properly. 7. The bathroom door (indoor) also has a broken handle, so the door won't close. 8. There are no towels or mats provided upon check-in. 9. I wanted to call room service, but the phone wasn't connected. It was displayed as there but didn't work, so I had to go back down to the lobby. 10. Aryaduta Semanggi needs a lot of improvements, starting with the yellowish water in the bathrooms. My first time staying at the Arya Duta Suites Semanggi Hotel, as I had to be at Balai Sarbini early in the morning for my children's school activities. Access from Balai Sarbini to and from the hotel is very easy and close, within walking distance. I really liked the spacious room and the friendliness of the staff, especially the receptionist. Thank you to the hotel for trying to fulfill our request via Traveloka, namely a room with a washing machine, because we really needed to wash the children's clothes after the dress rehearsal for the next morning. I was hesitant to choose this hotel at first because of the many negative reviews via Google Maps, but it turned out that the hotel and hotel room were clean, the room amenities were complete, starting from toiletries and also coffee and tea supplies, the stove was also usable properly. In addition, the playground was also clean and indoor, I really like hotels that have indoor playgrounds, the games are also quite complete. Unfortunately, I didn't swim and see the swimming pool which is also on the same floor as the playground, which is outside the hotel lobby. In our opinion, one obstacle was the elevator which was a bit slow and small even though there were 3, but this did not reduce the good rating we gave this hotel overall. The staff didn't remind or ask if I was bringing a vehicle, and the registration process was very complicated, including picking up my electronic card, which is usually left in the car. It's a great location and very cheap for the area. Old rooms, but that is okay. The main problem is cockroaches - the rooms are full of them. Several in our group had to move rooms due to the cockroaches in their rooms. Most other issues could be tolerated, but the high amount of cockroaches was very disappointing.

This experience was very unfortunate because there were many minuses, from the stove not turning on because it turned out to be out of gas, the door lock was broken, the AC in the second room was not cold, and the mattress was tilted when you sat on it, and the mattress pad was so yellow that it would be better if it was like that, it shouldn't be used again, the elevator was super duper slow.

One of the hotels we chose for our family staycation. The 3-bedroom room was our favorite. The security staff in the lobby and the reception staff were all kind and friendly. They responded quickly when the AC in one of the rooms wasn't cooling enough. A technician came and helped fix it, even though it was already 1:30 in the morning. Thank you, Aryaduta Semanggi ☺️🏢
