My first time in Semarang, and my stay at Pop Hotel was very satisfying. The room was clean, and the staff and security were friendly. The location is just steps from DP Semarang Mall and close to Lawang Sewu, making it a strategic location. If I go back to Semarang, I'll definitely stay here ☺

Arriving before check-in time, I was assisted by a friendly male staff member to register. Then, I waited an hour to be called when I was ready to check in. The process was quick and satisfying. When registering, I requested a double bedroom, but instead of a double bed, they responded promptly. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, had a pleasant atmosphere, and the space didn't feel cramped. The Wi-Fi was also fast and smooth. 🫶🏻 The breakfast had a decent variety, and the taste was delicious, so it was satisfying. 🫶🏻 Thank you for the good and friendly service. I left satisfied and comfortable. 🫶🏻

The hotel's location is very strategic in the city center, the facilities in the room are lacking, there is no tissue in the room, tissue is only in the bathroom, there is no shower cap, there is no coffee and tea in the room, there is no kettle, the hot water dispenser in the corridor is also not on, so you can't get hot water

Good place to stay. Close to malls, Lawang Sewu, and souvenir centers. Best place for short staycation.

Deliberately chose to stay here to make it easier to get to the airport because I took the first flight in the morning. The check-in process was very fast and the lady was super duper friendly. There is a key deposit of IDR 30,000. Got room number 216. I happened to stay here for 2 nights. It happened without breakfast because hotel breakfast is not interesting for me. Plus: Soundproof room, complete amenities even though there is only 1 part (2 towels, 1 toothpaste + toothbrush, 1 hotel slipper), gallon water is available in the corridor which is super useful for me who gets thirsty quickly, there is a safe in the room, quite complete TV channels, close to DP Mall so if you are hungry you can eat at the mall, the room service on the 2nd floor was super nice offering to tidy up the room even though I refused because the room was still very suitable for use. Minuses: Room 216 cannot be locked from the inside, the toilet spray hose is leaking so if it is not turned off it makes the bathroom a bit flooded, the dispenser cannot be hot and cold, you have to go down to the lobby for that. Oh yeah, this hotel does not have smoking, if you want to smoke, please use the smoking area provided.

The location is very strategic in the heart of the city. The room cleanliness is OK, but the amenity, especially the towels, looks old and needs to be replaced. The staff are very helpful.

Have stayed at this hotel many times, it is quite comfortable Super strategic location near Lawang Sewu and DP Mall Access is a bit congested especially on weekends, parking is limited but there are officers who help Budget hotel concept so the facilities obtained are in accordance with the price, according to the description and photos

If I go to Semarang, I will definitely stay here again. Keep it up.
