Great little hotel in the historic area of Quito. Very walkable and also close to a subway entrance (San Francisco) to get to other parts of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The arranged for an airport pick-up for us and also an early morning ride to the airport when we were leaving. Delicious breakfast included as well.

The hotel is beautiful, situated in old town Quito. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent- fruit, juice, eggs, sweet breads, coffee and tea. We would stay here again.

Hotel was in a great location and easy to walk to everything! Breakfast was simple but delicious. Staff were helpful. However, communication prior to the stay was very poor (taking days or weeks to respond, if at all) and then even though they confirmed in writing that they would pick us up from airport, they never showed up! We were left waiting at the airport at 3am and ended up catching a taxi. Also, our toilet (room 10) was faulty the whole time and wouldn’t flush properly. Everytime we mentioned it, they came to ‘fix’ it but it would only last one or two flushes and then not work again. No attempt to move us or offer compensation.

Lovely boutique hotel close to a street full of restaurants and the old city. It is a little challenging for taxis to collect directly at the hotel, but this is because of narrow busy streets and to be expected in this part of town. Just something to be aware of, but a good trade-off to be able to stay in this area. Great breakfast, helpful staff, and our room was maintained beautifully. No complaints.

We couldn't have had a better stay! This hotel is one of a kind - so much character and ambiance with a staff that goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The location is wonderful, the room was spotless with a very comfortable bed. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly, highly recommend!!

We had a great stay here. The hotel is adorable and in the best location. Our room was large and clean. Staff was excellent. The character and charm of the hotel was everything we were hoping for.

Great one night stay at casa alquima. We’re just stopping over before our land tour. We had booked the family room which had 3 beds and was easiest the biggest room in the hacienda. Checkin/checkout was smooth and the breakfast was exceptional. Also walking distance to all the major attractions. Also felt safe due to the fob security. Highly recommended.

Corner room was much nicer with 3 big windows facing the church square. Hot water worked fine this time. Ask for room #4, avoid #5 as hot water wasn't working and it is pretty dark.

I loved my stay here! The staffs are kind, the place is cozy and close to everything. I also got very lucky with my room. I would love to stay here again and I highly recommend it.

The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. They offer private tours in Quito, but also the surrounding areas. We did 3 tours and they were beyond great. I highly recommend staying here and the tours are an absolute must.
