Staying at PORTA by The Ambarrukmo truly provided an extraordinary and memorable experience from arrival to check-out. The comfort continued into the room, which was very clean, fragrant, and neatly arranged. The soft mattress and pillows successfully ensured maximum sleep quality, plus all the in-room facilities were very complete and functioned perfectly. Another attraction not to be missed is swimming or simply relaxing on the What the Deck area while enjoying the view of the city of Jogja—and Mount Merapi on a clear day—in the afternoon, it felt very calming. As for culinary matters, breakfast at Havene Restaurant was very satisfying with a variety of local and western menu options, all of which were delicious. The location is also super strategic on Jalan Colombo, making it very close to the campus area (UGM/UNY), culinary centers, and easy to reach if you want to go out of the hotel. The entire experience was enhanced by the incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive staff, making everything feel efficient. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for staycations, family vacations, or business trips because the price is commensurate with the facilities and services provided. I will definitely stay at PORTA again when I visit Jogja again!

Nice comfortable atmosphere, relaxing room

I absolutely loved staying here. The hotel isn't huge, but every corner is charming, and it's a comfortable place to rest. The place is clean and the rooms are spacious.
