We really enjoyed our stay at the Hard Rock Madrid. We stayed for 3 nights and found it was close enough to the main strip to be convenient. It’s just over the road from the Reina Sofia gallery, Retiro Park and the metro stop (Estación de Arte). Some reviews said the area immediately around isn’t great but we thought it was fine, it didn’t seem sketchy. The hotel itself had nice little touches like USB ports by the bed to charge our phones, cool art, decent hairdryer and shower etc. In our room the toilet, walk in shower and sink were all in separate spaces which was helpful. The pool area was fab, nice sun loungers and bar. It seemed a bit of a rarity in the city centre. There is a gym too although I’m not sure if it was open. We used the roof top bar on the last night which was a bit pricey but nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere with all the memorabilia in the halls and lobby. Food in restaurant and breakfast was good too.

Aurora at front desk checked us in she was very polite and friendly! The hotel was in a good location for commute and had fun events. We enjoyed our stay here. The food was average though and felt the restaurant staff not everyone speaks English, so had a little trouble there but they were all still polite and happy to help.

Excellent service

One night stay was very comfortable and rooms extremely quiet. Only comment was the roof bar was taken over by a private party and only reluctantly were hotel guests allowed to enter and have a drink. Breakfast buffet is overpriced. So went out for a nice breakfast nearby for 1/4 of the price.

Hotel is fairly well located and the rooms where clean and fresh. Bad points: Cold breakfast. Basically buffet not kept warm regardless of time. Being a Hard Rock Hotel, the entertainment on a Saturday night, was advertised as 2 hour's amd lasted 40 minutes! Issues with getting Unity Discounts applied. Obsessed with the water bottle in the room. I aint going to nick it, so just replenish the water each day dont obsess about swapping an empty for a new one. We have lives to live and just want water in the room!!!

I asked for a couple of coffe pods for the coffe makers at the room and they told me that they only give 2 pods per day..unbelievable after paying more than 300 dollars per night, zero customer service. Does not look like an american franchise. And also complicated to access from street since its has several steps to climb with lugage and kid stroller. A shame

Some of the staff were great but the hotel itself was noisy at night and had very little soundproofing. It's a shame that they have this beautiful rooftop but limited hours.

Nice property with accommodating staff and service. Conveniently located down the street from the Atoche station. Breakfast and bar service get high marks.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The lobby bar was a cool vibe. However, the rooms were cramped and the layout was poorly designed. Unfortunately, I would say it’s not worth the price. There are nicer hotels in the area for the same rate.
