We really enjoyed our stay at the Hard Rock Madrid. We stayed for 3 nights and found it was close enough to the main strip to be convenient.
It’s just over the road from the Reina Sofia gallery, Retiro Park and the metro stop (Estación de Arte). Some reviews said the area immediately around isn’t great but we thought it was fine, it didn’t seem sketchy.
The hotel itself had nice little touches like USB ports by the bed to charge our phones, cool art, decent hairdryer and shower etc. In our room the toilet, walk in shower and sink were all in separate spaces which was helpful.
The pool area was fab, nice sun loungers and bar. It seemed a bit of a rarity in the city centre. There is a gym too although I’m not sure if it was open. We used the roof top bar on the last night which was a bit pricey but nice.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
