New, clean hotel, close to the mall.

Nice place, nice hotel, clean and comfort.

Check-in was quick and easy. The location is right in the city center, so everything is close by. The hotel's atmosphere is integrated with the mall, which is nice, making it feel comfortable and I'd like to stay there again if I have time for a vacation.

The AC in room 501 is leaking, the toilet sometimes flushes, sometimes not, and it takes a long time to absorb water.

The service was incredibly friendly. There was a slight hiccup when I first checked in: the electricity went out several times, but it came back on after a while. The room, bed, and bathroom were clean, and the air conditioning was also cool.

Booked it for my parents in a 1-bedroom premier suite. They loved it so much! The room was beautiful, tidy, very comfortable, and extremely clean. They said all staff were friendly and polite. The location is right in the city centre and connected to a mall, which was very convenient. Overall, it was such a lovely experience for them and we would definitely come back again!

The location is very strategic, next to Queen City Mall. Access to everywhere is close. The Somerset Queen City Hotel is very clean, the hallways are clean and do not smell damp. The room is also very clean, not dusty and does not smell damp. I happened to book a 1 BR room. So there is a living room and kitchen (complete cooking and dining utensils), there is a washing machine, refrigerator and microwave too, a hot water kettle, an iron and a table. There is also a dining table. The bathroom is also clean, the towels are very complete (which I like the most): there are bath towels (of course), a mat, a towel for wiping hands, there are replacement towels for hand towels and small towels. A hair dryer is provided. Toiletries from Botanical, there is also conditioner. The service, all the staff are friendly. Recommended for those on vacation in Semarang and looking for a clean hotel and a strategic location. 👍

The hotel is new and comfortable. The staff are very kind and helpful. Check-in and check-out are also fast. The mall is next to the hotel, which adds to the convenience, eliminating the hassle of finding food on a business trip.

For breakfast, the taste is very lacking, the variety of food is also lacking.

Ok, very convenient, but one thing, the toilet water takes a long time to fill up.

We picked this hotel knowing this is a new hotel in Semarang and adjacent to Queen City mall. On our first night here, we smelled a strong odor coming from the bathroom to the bedroom. It smelled like a dirty sewer. Our first night was pretty much a waste, we couldn’t sleep with such a strong odor. The next morning we asked the receptionist to send someone to check the bathroom. Someone came and sprayed the bathroom to help with the odor. We left our room and back in the evening to find the odor was back. We called again and someone came to our room in the evening to see the bathroom. He also smelled the odor and this time he poured a liquid to the drain and also sprayed the bathroom. We hoped the odor would be gone but no, it came back at night. We didn’t bother to call again since we were checking out the next day. It was not a good experience for us staying at this new hotel. On facilities, we also found the hotel didn’t have a gym onsite. You have to walk to the mall next door and use the gym in the mall.

Very nice hotel to stay. I stayed here for 1 night for a biztrip purpose and felt very comfy with everything served.

Everything is ok, just the breakfast is not very varied

2 bedroom apartment is ok for a staycation with family, comfortable.. Recommended!
