— What You Can Expect —
Tali Wiru, meaning 'beautiful dune' in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. Instead of walls, this open-air restaurant has magnificent views of Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta, and for unique ambiance there's the stillness of the desert at night.
Every course of this exclusive four-course dinner is infused with ancient native ingredients. Each dish is constructed to respect and put a spotlight on the quality and attributes of each ingredient and bring them together in harmony. Taste items such as Victorian chestnut and celeriac velouté as an amuse bouche, wild Moreton Bay bug – slipper lobster, wattle seed dusted dorper lamb loin or tian of grilled market vegetables with crystal ice plant as your entree, while main course could be Glacier 51’ toothfish, Darling Downs wagyu beef tenderloin marble 6+, or wild forest mushroom risotto. Dessert is a choice of chocolate delice, desert honey and Kakadu plum mousse, or a homestead cheese board. Each dish carefully paired with premium Australian wines.
