Best Western Melbourne City

Room was exactly what you pay for and very clean. The staff were amazing, offering to store luggage before check in was available and also had them waiting in the room afterwards. Great location.

They tried refusing to give my my hundred dollar bond back because there was cigarette buts in the bin, they kept repeating they didn't allow smoking in the rooms , i explained to them i didn't smoke them in the room, if i had the whole room would have reeked of cigarettes, after waisting alot of time they finally got the manager to inspect the room and admitted i hadn't been smoking in the room and i finally got my bond back, no apologies or anything, what made it worse was i whent out of my way to leave it clean and tidy even stripping the linen fold the blanket wipe the surfaces in the bathroom and table and they still tried to, i feel ,scam me out of the $100

Staff were lovely! I had a problem with my initial room and was moved to another room. The new room itself was lovely apart from the loud airconditioner. The ground floor carpet in the hallway was disgusting, old and gathered in some parts. It also was not nice to have laundry in the area right outside the rooms- several cages of dirty sheets as well as clean. Overall the location was wonderful and the staff very lovely.

We were “upgraded” to the top floor. For anyone planning to stay at this hotel please note that the room on the top floor is only accessible via stairs. If this would be a problem for you I would advise to request to be on level 3 or below. The room felt dusty & dated. Ideal location for us though, right across from Southern Cross Station

Room had broken air conditioning that made awful noise and didn’t let us sleep. Even the shower door would make squeaky noise. Too small a room for such high price. Does not deserve to be a 3.5 star hotel.

Clean room , friendly proffesional staff, nice cafe`bar on site . quiet room most of the time. Good house keeping , great location . Easy to get around , walk , tram , train .very easy check in even @"01.30 am.

five stars definitely be there again happy with everyone and everything.

This was a great stay. It was a small room with a tiny shower cubicle but it was just me so I didn’t need anything more. Neat as a pin and clean. A short walk to the skybus and trams just outside the door

Clean room and friendly staff

The room was clean and tidy. A bit dated but the bed was comfy and the water was hot. The occupant in the next room was noisey but that is not the fault of our host.

The staff were amazing & the late checkout is handy. The location is so close to Southern Cross station.
