My only negative was the aging room. Bed was lumpy, bathroom had paint peeling off in the shower and mould in the silicone, the door frames were chipped and painting over the old dark wood in white was patchy. The blind was hanging off its velcro top fixing and the black out blind was crooked. TV remote had flat batteries and the internet was patchy. Other than that it was an excellent room and we had a lovely stay.

When we arrived, there was no telephone information flyer in the room, leaving us unsure how to contact reception. As a result, I had to come to the front desk personally to report a torn towel and request an extra one- yes, one of the bath towel had a big hole in the middle, I have a photo of it. Additionally, the in-room phone was not functioning properly — it was impossible to hear the person on the other end of the line.
We also discovered that the body wash bottle was empty, even after Sunday morning's housekeeping service. The entrance door to the room could not be fully opened, making it very difficult to move our luggage in and out. On Saturday afternoon, there was a strong unpleasant odor throughout the hallway on our floor. Moreover, there was no lighting in the luggage storage area of the room, forcing us to place our bags near the window to be able to see inside them.
More concerning, a few hours after our checkout — during which I settled all room charges — the hotel charged my our deposit credit card approximately $136. This card had been provided at check-in for the damage deposit. We are certain that we caused no damage to the property and did not use the minibar during our stay.

Hotel room was clean and spacious, the Harbour view was a bit obstructed because I was on a lower floor. Breakfast was so good, many choices. Within 10 minutes to QVB and Townhall. Very convenient. Highly recommend.

Room was lovely but we booked the hotel for its rooftop bar which was closed the night we stayed. No notice of this was given and we only found out when we tried to access it along with many other people. As a feature of the hotel, this should have been clear. Disappointing.
