Nice location with easy access to metro station, Victoria Cross. The check-in process is smooth and easy. The surrounding area is really nice with parks, restaurants, and cafes nearby.

Excellent clean modern room, verg pleased. A coffee pod machine Would be a nice addition and I thought the top floor was quite noisey you can hear other unit doors slamming with a heavy thud, it could be more soundproofed. Other than those 2 things very enjoyable stay, clodecto bars also.

Great stay with a small Sydney harbor view. Very clean & modern. Only downside was a very noisy extraction fan in the bathroom that couldn’t be turned off. Kept us awake & had to wear earplugs.

Amazing. It is right next door to the new Victoria Cross Metro Station and it is a mere two stops to the heart of Sydney, the Elizabeth Metro Martin just metres from Martin Place. (Excellent if you are headed to the Westfield Tower precinct or like us to a show at the Theatre Royal). The Hotel itself is modern (recently refurbished I think), rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the staff polite and helpful. We booked breakfast via the Hotels.com ap and we saved about 5 each by doing so. The full breakfast was great (though I had to ask for my bacon to be made crispy, a common thing at many hotel breakfasts) and the chef happily obliged. There was a lot of choice in breakfast items and we really enjoyed it and made a good choice by booking breakfast in. I often go to see shows in Sydney and have previously been staying at Chatswood and catching the train in from there. But now that the new under the city Metro is opened, the location of Rydges North Sydney is an even better location (though make sure that on the return journey back from the city you take the Miller Street North exit, NOT the South exit. The Metro is about 80 metres down and there are a couple of sets of escalators and long and wide concourses, so if you take the wrong exit and then need to backtrack while still in the Metro itself, you will be doing lots of walking. Will definitely be staying here again. Price for a twin room on a Friday night was less than $200 (room only) , which was fantasti

Given the hotel is newly refurbished the cleanliness and upkeep of the room was disappointing: food on walls and on the curtains, and lots of scuff marks. The room was also dirty, with the shower not being clean and bar area/ kitchen amenities being splattered with food/ liquid. The floors are lino I could hear the people above me walking around, which meant it was hard to relax - lots of door slamming too. I was also woken up by the front desk calling to confirm I wanted a late check out, which was frustrating and defeated the purpose! Reception area was modern and well kept and the hotel has a fantastic location though - easy walking distance to local amenities and the hospital!

Great location & relatively good room, but really poor check-in experience & despite AC being turned off kept cutting in & out every 2-3mins which was noisy & annoying. Overall was just an ok experience & would look to stay elsewhere in North Sydney next time.

The room was clean, maybe a little tired ie. bathroom towels & water damage to door. The staff were helpful & friendly and the barman particularly had a good recommendation & memory re the wine I liked. The bar food was really good, reasonably priced, including a special that changed each day. I would definitely recommend Rydges North Sydney and I look forward to my next stay with them.

I booked 2 x 2 bedroom for 2 nights. Rooms were not together. Floor 7 & 10 not helpful for a family weekend. I asked through Expedia and Rydges multiple times to join these bookings, neither assisted in this. I will not use Expedia to book again. Rydges also booked us out from one night to the next which had us have to change all our door keys. Multiple multiple emails & messages about booking in & confirmation online which I attended and still went through that same process at the hotel, so I shouldn’t have wasted my time and patience.

The hotel is very clean and staff are friendly. The only problem is no enough parking space. For some reasons, only one level of car park was available during our stay and we end up needing to park at the outside of the hotel.
