The view from balcony is soOOO beautiful! Hotel is very kind to accept my request to upgrade the room to Superior Double Room with a lake view. Yes! It's worth the upgrade. Would recommend to stay in the main building. The free sauna is a great activity and we really enjoyed it at the end of the day. The reception guy (I think his name is Simon?) was super helpful and responsive on all our requests. Totally recommend to stay in this hotel!

The hotel is right next to the ferry dock and is so simple to get to. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. They're especially understanding if German isn't your first language. I stayed in the accommodation building which was an easy 4-5 min walk from the main building and even being in a ground floor room I had the best lake and mountain views. Staff also helped with bags to the room. The buildings are centrally located and easy to get around. Food at the hotel restaurant was amazing, service was amazing and well priced for Hallstatt. Would recommend!

Hotel was FABULOUS! I wasn't sure when I booked it, but so happy I did. Excellent location, exceptional staff, fantastic breakfast. Can't say enough nice things about this property! I had a room overlooking the lake.

We had a lovely time at this hotel! The place itself is beautiful and well-maintained. A huge shoutout to the room service staff who were prompt and professional. However, be aware that the on-site restaurant charges a €6 cover fee per person just to sit down, regardless of whether you are a guest or not. While the food was good, this extra charge felt a bit steep. Aside from that, everything was excellent.

What truly stood out was the overall experience. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable, the staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, and the amenities were well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. From check-in to check-out, everything felt seamless and welcoming. It was clear that great care is taken to ensure guests feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The room is different as it’s not at the main building. And 10 mins walk from the main hotel to the unit. Stuff are unfriendly. And it’s over priced. Check in strictly at 3pm and when check out their counter staff only operated at 8am when we are rushing for 0810 ferry.
