A DUMP - 30-years past its prime. Rooms and furnishings are worn, damaged and unclean. Staff were all unfriendly save for one valet; bartenders’ attitudes were bordering rude, as if they couldn’t be bothered. One restaurant whose food choices forced us to go offsite. Don’t be fooled by the pictures!

Internet connections in room were terrible. Complained 3 times and it was never fixed. We don't think it can be fixed. Hallways were dark with heavy carpet. On our second stay the rooms air conditioner was antiquated and not functioning properly. They had a noisy standing fan for if the room became too hot. Also no soap holder in the shower. Had to rest soap on the ridge of the bath stall.

The hotel was a good choice. The room was large and had everything we needed. The beach was awesome. We had a few red flag days, but it didn't bother anyone. The bar was well run. The restaurant was overlooking the ocean. The hotel was coincidentally located near the Quayside Center which has a lot to offer: shopping and restaurants . We would highly recommend the Accra Beach Resort!

complete dump, we only stay one night and would not have stayed that night if we would have arrived before 11:00 PM from flight.

Very nice hotel with great staff! The breakfast was very expensive so we only ate there once. Aside from that everything was great! Perfect location

I was disappointed with my visit. The staff morale was very poor, very unfriendly employees. The hotel frequently books large group events and the space is directly below many rooms, one night the music and noise continued past midnight. The restaurant prices are extremely high and poor quality, we enjoyed meals outside of the property as a result. The pool was closed for most of the day on one day of our visit for cleaning but when it reopened it was really cloudy and we noticed a foamy film buildup on the side of the pool. On a positive note, cleaning staff was very thorough and our room was well maintained. The beach is amazing and the hotel location was perfect.

The AC was working fine. The restaurant was a bit slow, but improved during the week. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nice facility we had gone to 20 years ago. Still very nice. One big problem was that our room was not available until after 6:00 PM. Had to wait in the lobby around 3 hours. Room was very nice and hotel comp'd our dinner at their restaurant to make up for the long wait.

All a bit dated. Main pool was green with no complimentary extras to compensate. The adult was clear though.

For the money you paid is not worth it. They did not help you at all and even they did not have a bottle of water as a welcome in your room . Very disappointed

They don’t bother to maintain the building. Hotel not that old but zero maintenance so falling apart and looks dirty. Unfriendly and arrogant staff, particularly at reception and bars (saying thank you or smiling not their style). Breakfast was a pain since they had to bring the coffee and the sugar and the cream and they would bring one and not the other. Pool must have bad filter or improper maintenance as water was murky. In the price range it is the worst hotel I have stayed and I have stayed in about 1000 hotels in my life. The concierge was useless and seemed too busy with personal matters to assist guest. Storage of luggage was a nightmare. There were a few exceptions with some staff and our room was clean but overall I would never stay or go there. Many other bad experiences endured at Accra. The beach was nice so that’s the best I can say.

The beach area and the pool was really nice. The dining had a limited menu, several buffets offered which I’m not fond of. The rooms were a good size, just ordinary but nice views of pool/ beach. The front desk, and door persons were very nice and extremely helpful in getting transportation etc. Close to ships and across the street shops and market.

Windstar no longer recommends as many little flaws. our room safe did not lock and shower was also non operational. Sat nite dinner was overpriced chinese buffet only.
