Staff is super helpful and worked with us despite us speaking no Portuguese

It is a ok place but they really fixed up a not very nice place and got it to clean. Right on the ocean so the location is great, it just felt like I could do better looking around.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it is important to share this experience for other travelers. During our stay, a personal item (portable charger) went missing from our room. Only hotel staff had access (housekeeping and minibar service). We reported this immediately, but received no meaningful response or follow-up from the front desk or management. In addition, we experienced serious cleanliness concerns. There was visible mold in the room, and the bed sheets provided were not clean. Even a member of housekeeping acknowledged this, took photos, and confirmed the sheets were dirty. Despite reporting these issues, the front desk staff — specifically Claudette and Thays — repeatedly refused to assist, escalate the situation, or provide any resolution. At checkout, there was still no accountability, no apology, and no effort to make the situation right. Instead, we were asked to pay for minor items from the minibar, despite the unresolved issues during our stay. This experience was disappointing not only because of the issues themselves, but because of the complete lack of customer care and responsibility shown by staff. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both cleanliness standards and guest support moving forward.

Staff very good. Very clean. The only thing is lot too good is the breakfast, it could have more variety.

1- room was small with a view to a wall. 2- staff was very nice 3- breakfast was decent 4- towels are too thin Location was perfect. Between coppa cabana and ipanema.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room wasn’t properly cleaned—I found hair in the bathroom—and the toilet and overall room condition felt quite run down and in need of maintenance.

Air con did not work the whole week I stayed. I spoke with reception more than 5 times requesting that they please sort the air con but nothing was sorted. It was over 30 degrees in Rio de Janeiro the entire time and without air con i struggled to sleep every night. Upon checking out, I requested a discount due to the air con not working and they told me no. The woman at the reception desk was rude and when I asked to speak with the manager she refused to call them. She simply said I must pay. To spend this amount of money per night at a hotel and receive such poor level of service and have an air con that does not work is unacceptable.

El proceso de checkin y checkout funciono sin ningun problema. La habitacion es amplia limpia y comoda. El buffete de desayuno, bastante completo. Nos gusto y fue muy util, el servicio adicional de guardar maletas despues de checkout. La unica recomendación es respecto a las tarjetas de acceso a la habitación, estas son antiguas y se desconfiguran por lo que hay que pasar a recepcion a reconfigurar antes de entrar.

They have coffee pucks in the room but no coffee machine and no kettle. There was no hot water in the mornings but fine at nights

The staff are kind and work well. The location is good and the rooms are mostly clean. That's where the positives end. The bed feels like sleeping on concrete. The pillows are equally awful. The ac barely works and is incredibly loud. Sometimes ice builds up and makes an incredibly loud noise when it hits the blower. The included breakfast is ok not great. Ate it twice in ten days. Ervall I wouldn't stay here again

Clean room

Excelente hotel, muy bien ubicado, entre Copacabana e Ipanema. El desayuno es muy rico y variado. Las habitaciones y el baño es amplio, cama grande. El personal es muy amable. Lo único por mejorar es el wifi y el aire acondicionado que no enfriaba mucho.

The room was clean, ambient lighting, great location, near beaches and lots of restaurants nearby.

Hotel is pretty basic, they can improve cleanliness in the shower, but the location is perfect, right between Ipanema and copacabana
