Comfort Inn Pickering

My only complaint was that both myself and my daughter were walkinf with a cane and they gave us the farthest room possible from the front desk. The person who checked us in should have took the time to explain to us that we could drive around and park by the patio door.

Great Service and Welcoming Atmosphere I recently stayed at Hotel Inn in Pickering, Ontario, and had a very pleasant experience. The standout feature of this hotel is definitely the service—every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about guest comfort. There was always someone around to assist, and the team really keeps the place clean and well-maintained. The lobby is cozy and thoughtfully stocked with both dry and cold snacks, refreshing cold water, and a coffee machine that serves great hot and cold drinks—including hot water for tea. It’s a small touch, but it really adds to the overall comfort. There’s also a small gym and other amenities that make the stay convenient. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Honestly, I’d say this is one of the best hotel staff teams I’ve seen in Canada—efficient, kind, and always on the move keeping things in order. If I had to suggest improvements, I’d say the breakfast could be better, and the rooms could benefit from some odor control. A few bathroom upgrades in the future wouldn’t hurt either. But overall, this is a humble, welcoming hotel that does the basics extremely well. Would definitely stay again!
