Nice location

I was not in need of any extra assistance during my stay. I did not use the restaurant or gym but certainly would have if I had the time. Very large hotel staff were polite for those that I did see. I have no complaints about the hotel, my room or my stay itself. It was as close to perfect that I have had this far in other hotels around Ottawa for the price I paid. Thank you,

I liked the cleanliness of the room and grounds. The staff were excellent, the only thing I did not like was the room heating / cooling system seemed to need a filter replacement. I was so stuffed up at night, I had to turn the heating / cooling system off as well as my second night I did not even turn it on and had a much better sleep. The buffet is over priced in my opinion, I would think a more reasonable price would be 15-18 dollars, it is not worth 25 dollars and the waiter who brings you water and your bill expects a tip. A tip for doing your job? So no tip for him, the second day my waitress cleaned my table etc... The gym was nice and clean, machines nice, weights etc... the pool was cold, I did not go into the hot tub. Overall a pleasant experience.

The hotel is in the middle of absolutely nothing, no convenience stores, no coffee shops. We didn't have a car so you had to get a taxi just to go for coffee. Speaking of which, the room was supplied with coffee pods. No tea option for non coffee drinkers. And the room was cold but there were no blankets supplied. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff friendly but it definitely wasn't worth the price.

Bathroom had all kinds of bugs in bathroom. Reported to staff and was supposed to get a call from manager and no one followed up. I called twice regarding this issue and I even took pictures. Really disappointed.

Was staying for a conférence. Hotel was perfect. Service at bar was exceptionnally great! Good, friendly service.

The rooms are spacious and nicely designed. Unfortunately, the refrigerator in our room did not work during our stay. Although the maintenance staff informed us that it had been repaired, it still wasn't functioning afterward. The staff were friendly and made an effort to accommodate guests whenever possible. However, the biggest drawback was the elevator service. The elevators were extremely slow, and sometimes we had to wait more than five minutes for one to arrive, which was quite inconvenient.

The room is really big including the bathroom. Air conditioning is good. Nice long kitchen counter and enough storage for clothes. However, the overall decor was dated and the bathroom is old especially the tub area. Indoor parking is nice and easy to access.

Issues with their elevators, long wait and some mechanical problems

Great customer service. Rooms were clean and well maintained. One of the elevators was down and being in such a large and busy hotel this caused quite a bit of a challenge for guests.

People drinking in lobby wasn’t a good thing to see and kids running around all day

My friend and I stayed here while I was in Ottawa for a bookstore event celebrating the release of my memoir, and everything was excellent from start to finish. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made for a wonderful night's sleep. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at the hotel restaurant and found the overall atmosphere warm and relaxing. The location was convenient, and the hotel offered excellent value for the price. After a busy and exciting weekend, it was the perfect place to stay. I would not hesitate to return and would gladly recommend this hotel to others visiting Ottawa.

Hot tub wasn't operational

Liked the location to the Ottawa train station and we were able to walk to the hotel within 15 minutes. Hotel front entrance not well identified from the parking lot. This is a sports team hotel and the hotel was busy with teams arriving and leaving. The restaurant is pretty basic and on the expensive side for what you get. For example two coffees, a yogurt parfait and a bagel were over twenty dollars.

Room nicely decorated, comfortable bed and designed sofa/ottoman. Large window and practical microwave.

Staff were friendly & helpful. Food was delicious!

Great utility, clean, consistent service, amenities. BISTRO bar needs to be open after 11pm!

Clean rooms and Check in service was great!

Pleasant stay

Housekeeping service did not clean my room. After calling, I was told that rooms are only cleaned every other day and that I had not requested Cleaning. As I was only there for two nights I needed my room cleaned day one not day two. Someone did come and do it and was pleasant. Towels are terrible. Bathtub was stained pillows were not acceptable.
