Next time we would not stay on the first floor- but otherwise it was nice.

The suites were really cute with a full kitchen. Very clean and quiet. The exterior was really pretty with fountains and gardens. I knew that parking would be paid, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was only $10. I was expecting more. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great. The room was big and spacious and very comfortable. Very clean and well equipped. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, and the place is easy to get to and very close to the downtown area. Nice and quiet too. Would highly recommend it and would stay here again 👍

Gorgeous suite, clean and tidy. The smell from the air conditioner and then the air freshener meant to cover up the smell of the air conditioner was awful. Too bad as the location is absolutely perfect, lovely hotel grounds and well appointed suites. The smell was terrible.

Spacious room in a great location. Beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was a plus.

Rooms are always very clean and comfortable! Kitchen is well equipped and staff is very helpful. We have been staying there for many years !

Excellent location - right next to BC Museum and Empress and across from Beacon Hill Park. Beautiful 3rd floor big King Studio Suite in main building. (no elevator) but can take outside ramp to second floor & up 1 flight of stairs. All rooms have Kitchenettes. Ours also had a Murphy bed. Definitely will go back. No restaurant or breakfasts. Dutch Bakery Restaurant and Cora’s a few blocks away - walkable.

Great location Staff were very friendly and helpful Room was clean. Ground floor room had a low ceiling and bathroom very small Sofa bed was very uncomfortable for even a small adult. I would request a room on an upper floor next time

Room overlooked a major vehicle thoroughfare - Douglas Street - and there was much traffic noise from cars,trucks and buses, not to mention that the room also overlooked a four-way traffic stop which resulted in traffic stopping and starting. Also, an old fridge adjoining the bedroom make a loud humming noise solved by pulling out the electrical plug to stop it. The air conditioner did not work. The walls were poorly insulated - could hear footsteps and voices from the floor above from other guests moving in. The desk clerk was apologetic and offered a discount on the room charge which was appreciated.

We had room 104 and it was perfect. Quiet room, lovely staff and everything was kept in tip top shape.

The reason for the higher rating is because of the excellent location. Everything within walking distance. Gorgeous park right across the street. Staff was not very friendly upon check in. When I first saw the room, I wasnt impressed, but it sorta grew on me. One thing that concerned me is that I had a ground floor room and the windows facing the street did not lock. The air conditioning was pretty noisy, but did the job. But the room was very clean and it was nice to have a suite with amenities. I'd probably stay there again, but only because of the location.
