Robin Hood Inn & Suites

Overall for a one night stay it was okay. I did appreciate them for being pet friendly(a fee is applied).

Our room was tucked away from walk traffic so our pups were quite comfortable. There was a very clean bed and bowls as well as treats. Our room was spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the coffee machine that was in our room it was difficult to operate. We enjoyed breakfasts in ‘ the great room’ as well as the use of the microwave anytime up to 10pm each evening. I recommend Robin Hood Inn and Suites!

Truly lovely customer service. Everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. The property is older with renovated rooms - nice friendly, down to earth location in what felt like a safe area.

Room is clean, newer than expected with attentive housekeeping. Breakfast is no frills and same every day. The great room (a large game room) is a bonus feature here good for kids watching tv.

I can handle old school motels like this if the price is right but this was way overpriced for the condition. Don’t bother showing up for the “breakfast” either unless you want a yoplait yogurt, push button coffee, with a dry bowl of no name cereal and a wooden spoon.

An older property that has obviously been well taken care of. Spotless room. Quality bedding and towels. Very friendly staff. An excellent property.

It's an older hotel but it has great charm. Spacious rooms, handy full kitchen in our suite and the continental breakfast was great. Neighborhood is perfect too, really easy to get on the galloping goose trail and they give out bicycles too!

The room was a bit dated but decent enough for a night. The "great room" was a nice amenity where you can relax a bit and have a coffee. The breakfast was minimal but good enough.

Clean room. Recently updated. The exterior of the hotel is tired looking and needs a new paint job and some cosmetic work. The parking lot is bumpy and needs work.

This property exceeded my expectations. My room was well-lit and it appears the bathroom was recently reno'ed. Bed was comfy. Tv was easy to use. The room is basic, but welcoming. All staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful...and smiling!! Unfortunately I did not have time to use the comp recreational equipment, but that is def something that would cause me to return. While the comp breakfast was minimal, I was very grateful they offered something. I hope they will continue with this as it does give an advantage over other properties. I will say, some very loud pipes (?? Or other???) in the walls during the night. Very loud. Fortunately I eas tired enough that it did mot keep me awake. This property followed through on their 'VIP' extra, though it was extremely minimal at a value of less than $2. (I'm not sure what the obligation is w/Expedia.) I was supposed to get a room upgrade, but not sure if I did as I wouldn't have known the difference... Note, if you're using public transit there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, with at least one bus (if not more) to/from the downtown harbour. Suggestions: - kettle inside room please - I would prefer to peel my own hard-boiled eggs, as more hygienic. - it would be great if staff could make the pancakes and replenish as necessary, rather than guests having to make. In summary, I would stay here again and am comfortable recommending this place.
