We thought the kitchen sink tap was was going to fall apart, it was so loose to the counter. The microwave electrical cord had bare wires near the plug, we unplugged it and would not use it. The coffee maker fell apart, we were able to get it back together for us to use it. There was no laundry available to us in the suite. We had no instructions on how to enter the building or the suite. I had to phone expedia who then contacted the company and then we got the instructions texted to us. I did receive a phone message on my home phone a few hours before we arrived but I live in British Columbia and was on a plane at the time, flying into Montreal. The booking said that we would receive instructions 5 days before arrival if we arrived after hours, otherwise there would be someone at the desk. We never saw anyone. The guys in the restaurant next door helped us into the building as well as other guests who said that they had the same problems. The second night the TV cut out - said no signal. I did text the number I had but received no answer. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room was as described, and clean. Great location. That is where the good ends. The bed was in terrible condition, the sidewall of it actually no longer fully intact as far as we could tell. A bench in the dressing area was simply broken with parts of it on the floor. The microwave door would not open and it did not function. The TV did not function because the necessary HDMI ports were actually stripped out of the TV itself. The towels provided were the bear minimum of towel. And when spoken to, the remote staff seriously could not care less, promising over and over to call back immediately (never did) or to send repair people which they again never did. Great location and lots of potential. unfortunately the host seems to care little about you once they have your money.

The apartment is nice. It’s an old building and has character. It could really use some TLC the sliding doors in the washroom that cover the water tank and washer and dryer were broken. Whoever painted the apartment could’ve taken more care and trying not to drip paint all over the
floor. There is a sitting bench in the apartment and it was all sticky with spelt drinks, so obviously it hadn’t been cleaned.What really bothered me was the smell of cigarette, for an absolutely non-smoking apartment it was very evident that there had been smoking tenants. I wouldn’t call it a hotel. No one ever came to clean the rooms or the washroom. They never gave us new towels. We were there for four days and we had to keep reusing the towels. There is no one around at the front desk or any Cleaning staff. I have messaged the property directly a few times and no one gets back to you. So expect it to be renting an apartment and doing your own cleaning. The location is awesome, and the apartment has everything you need in it. we really enjoyed being in the heart of old Montreal and have that much space rather than a small hotel room

Exactly as advertised. Clean, well kept. All amenities for a longer stay. The check-in was a little problematic online but once we connected with a person everything was smooth. Highly recommend this hotel and you can walk all around Old Montreal from this location.

Scam - take warning.
No front desk (listing says there is). You’ll find yourself out on the street, locked out.
Eventually found a help number that would connect - at 18:18. Went through a verification process, and did not receive any email.
Received messages at 22:48, nothing to say how to access accomodation.
So no check in.
Currently going through the process to get monies back after no check in instructions received.

I would not recommend this property. Check in was a nightmare. The hotel advertises having a limited hour front desk. No one was there when we arrived and I never once saw a person working at the front desk our entire stay. It took us contacting Expedia to get a hold of the hotel for us to finally gain entrance. That experience alone took over an hour. The location itself was nice and the apartment looked as advertised, but the "exterior" and "restaurant" photos are of the restaurant next door and I do not believe that they are affiliated. In addition, I believe that AI has been used to touch up the front desk photos and the Reception area photo just is not a place that exists. The apartment itself worked well for what we needed. We tried contacting the hotel three times to request a late check out (which we wouldn't have needed if anyone actually worked at the front desk to hold our bags after our checkout time) and they never responded. We also never received our welcome communication from them (in which they told us to communicate with them over the Expedia app at any time, which we did and they never responded to) until the night before we were leaving. About 30 minutes later we received our check out information correspondence, in which they told us to contact them if we wanted a later check out time. Which we again did, to no response. It worked, but overall it felt scammy. Also the windows were very thin and you could hear everything from the street at night.

The location was perfect. The room was nice but needs better cleaning.
Its difficult to.check in as no one is at the front. I was never given instructions on how to check in until I cntacted the host multiple times and he sent it to me only when I was there.
Host was pleasant to deal with on the phone.
No elevators so if your room is on the 3rd floor it will be difficult for someone elderly.
Overall its good and the location might be the only reason I would go back.
