Very old furniture, appartment was supposed to have a Queen bed but had only a double bed that was very soft. Needs to be renovated badly with new furniture. Walls need repainting/repairing. The toilet didn't flushe half the time.

Parking was free. We only spent our time to sleep at night and did not use anything, so it was not bad for us. But don't have high expectations, everything is very old. It is just an affordable hotel in downtown.

The location is amazing, and having free off-street parking in this location is particularly amazing. Easy walk to lots of cafes and restaurants and to Stanley Park. As others have noted, the property seems like it hasn't been updated in quite a while, so if that will bother you don't stay here. The upside is that it's quite affordable for the location. Plus it's nice to have what's essentially a one-bedroom apartment: separate bedroom, living room, and kitchen. No issues with cleanliness, the wifi worked, the bed was comfortable.

Excellent location as you can walk to all the shopping on Robson and catch transit easily. With kitchen facilities in the suite, the ability to cook meals and eat at the provided table can help with cost savings. You aren't staying here for the decor. If that's your thing, this isn't it. It's dated and in poor condition. They need to fix the flickering overhead lights on floor 9 in the hallway. It's jarring stepping immediately off the elevator. I recognize that with updates the cost would reflect it, and I still appreciate a budget option in the city. The beds however are quite comfortable and always have been clean. I get a good nights sleep.

Parking was easy. This is an old apartment building that looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 1950’s. Paint chipping everywhere, doors delaminating, It was clean as in they wash and change sheets between guests and vacuum but it still felt dirty because it’s so old, carpet is old, bedspread is old, couch is old and faded.

Lost in the 80’s. Sometimes an older place can be charming and quaint no matter how old. It’s the basic upkeep that becomes paramount to maintain the charm and appeal. Not this place. #1004 was an absolute dump with dirty walls, smelly stale cigarette smoke, filthy couch, broken vanity mirror and hair dryer just sitting on counter. Although the bathroom and kitchen were clean the smell was choking. I changed rooms to 1202 and a world of difference except the shower doesn’t properly work, leaky taps, worn out drapes. If the owner doesn’t care about their appearance it’s because of their very sloppy presentation. That attracts a lesser crowd who don’t care either. That becomes a double negative and no one wins. Not worth the price of the room. Terribly maintained. Sad. Really sad. Lady at front desk on check-in was very nice and polite. Daytime clerk or Manager could have cared less and wasn’t interested in my comments.
