This is such a fun property - within just a few blocks of several popular sites in historic Copenhagen. The room was small but very efficiently met all of our needs. There are nice t.v. and lounge rooms to socialize in on the main level and a nice garden area outside of the breakfast room. There is a small charge for breakfast in the morning - get a ticket at the front desk. Highly recommend this lodging - great to be in the middle of so many restaurants and museums!

My stay dates there were May 12–15, 2026. What I appreciated: • The central location, which made it easy to explore the city. Areas that need improvement: • My reservation indicated a Wakeup Large room with a maximum capacity of three guests. In reality, the room was extremely small and contained two twin beds arranged in a way that felt more like a dormitory than a “large” room category. • One wall panel near the bed was broken. • The room had no desk and no proper nightstands — only tiny glass shelves barely large enough for a pair of glasses. The bedside light was too dim to be used for reading. • There was no safe in the room. • The shower had no cabin or curtain, causing the entire bathroom floor to become wet and slippery after each use. • There was almost no counter space in the bathroom, not even enough for a toothbrush. • There was no luggage assistance available; I had to bring my suitcases to the room myself. I chose Wakeup Copenhagen because of its reputation for modern, efficient accommodations, so encountering all of these issues was disappointing.

Good basic hotel in a great location. Was disappointed that there was no kettle in the room and no complimentary tea/coffee. The drain in the shower was very slow and water pooled on the bathroom floor. Those things aside, the room was clean and comfortable.

Tbf the only reason this hotel didn’t get a 5/5 is the cleanliness. The room sizes are small and they should work on having cleaner rooms. Other than that it’s the perfect LOCATION! You can walk the entire city of Copenhagen from the location every single monument is a walking distance plus both the metro and the DSB RE trains are a walking distance. There are multiple food options including Gasoline Grill right next to the hotel and many supermarkets. If I go back to Copenhagen I would definitely stay there but would bring cleaning supplies and clean my room before I do anything. Oh and THE STAFF are AMAZING! They had availability and made me check in earlier! I honestly recommend this place to anyone considering visiting the city!
