When we arrived the people at reception were so helpful, courteous and kind. They carried our very heavy bags up to the room for us. The room was clean and tidy. It was made up while we were out which is unusual these days unless you ask for it. It felt like they went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay.

Room was clean and bathroom was newly renovated and unexpectedly spacious for London hotel size. Staff are all welcoming and friendly. Close to metro and Coach station. Breakfast was good and staff in the lounge was very polite and friendly. The only draw back wss the noise level, you could hear the trains running by.

We stayed in the annex across the road and not in the main hotel building, room was spotless and heard little noise so despite being next to the bus & train station. Perfect base for anyone wanting to get out and about to see the sights and handy for other transportation links.

24 hours trains go right outside the property and you shake in your bed. I am a light sleeper, could not sleep at all. Breakfast is very basic - canned fruits and mostly packaged breakfast.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s walking distance to Buckingham palace and other sites. It’s very close to Victoria Coach station where many tours originate. You can also walk down to the Thames and catch the Uber boat at Battersea. However, it’s also directly next to the train tracks so you hear the trains 24 hours a day. As expected, it’s an older property so the rooms are quite small and the bathroom is very tight. The windows don’t seal shut properly so you do hear a lot of street and train noise. Bring earplugs is you’re a light sleeper. The morning breakfast had a good selection.

Stayed 3 nights so it’s ok for a short trip. But don’t recommend for longer stays. Pros: close to Victoria Station and Hop on/Hop off Tours. Breakfast was £11 but fairly good with plenty of options. Clean room. Cons: Hard beds, hard pillows, windows are drafty and outside noise is very loud. Trains were so loud and even rumbled the bed at times. Rooms are quite small and no bathroom toiletries or even a wash cloth provided. Too many homeless around low to no lighting makes the area feel unsafe at night.
