Blandford Hotel

This is a hard one to review. There were many positives, but the negatives

Room was clean and compact very nice staff super friendly great little hotel

I chose the Blandford Hotel for its convenient location, as it was close to where I needed to be over a two-day stay. Check-in was smooth, and the room was reasonably clean. However, the temperature control in the room was unreliable. It fluctuated between too hot and too cold, which made it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. The real disappointment came after my stay. I accidentally left an item behind and contacted the hotel to see if they could check for it. Unfortunately, the staff were unhelpful and showed little interest in assisting. They said they would follow up, but I never heard back. This lack of basic customer service left a poor impression and is the main reason for the lower rating.

Curious staff. Clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Centrally located to get to all attractions easily by bus or tube.

Breakfast could be better

It was awful. The first room they put us in, the bathroom door was broken and very unstable. It wouldn't close. We told the desk and the manager? came to our room and advised that he already knew about it and was trying to arrange for it to be fixed. Not sure why they put us into a room which they knew was not fit for purpose. We asked to be moved and they did ... into the basement. It was tiny. I am sure it must have originally been a single. You could barely move around the bed! The sockets were loose in the wall, and the room stank of damp. There was mould on the lampshades and along the bottom of the walls. And the window looked out into the emergency exit . At night the emergency lights came on and shone straight into our room. Even with the curtains closed, the light came in through the sides. And in the morning, everyone had to walk past our room to the breakfast room. It was noisy. Never again. I don't think this room was fit for habitation at all and am tempted to get environmental services to have a look!

Though, the single rooms are not big but has all the convenience required. Excellent and comfortable

The Blandford Hotel is in the perfect location! It’s a quick walk to the tube stop, and is close to amazing restaurants and walking. The rooms aren’t very big - it’s hard to lay flat 2 checked luggage bags in order to unpack. The elevator is also very tiny. Worth it if you want to stay in the Marylebone area! Will definitely return!

Lovely hotel in a quiet street off Baker St, close to underground. Wonderful staff, helpful and efficient. Breakfast offered something for everyone. All in all a fantastic stay and would highly recommend

Decent location. Very small rooms that are a bit strange. For example the tap in the bathroom sink is so far back that you can’t hold your hands under the water and water goes all over counter. Also the curtains are not installed well. So when closed there is still a lot of light coming into the room. The breakfast is excellent

Breakfast was very well stocked and the staff were very nice and polite.

No hot water. Had no hot water in the evening we arrived so my wife went to talk to the host and she clearly knew but tried to act surprised. They didn’t offer any explanation or solution. In the morning the water was still cold in both rooms our family had. Not even a sorry when we checked out. Very poor service.

Small clean room in a cute little hotel. Very convenient location in a nice neighborhood. Staff was helpful. Would stay again.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. It is very close to Regent’s Park which I enjoyed running around and is close to transport links and a wide range of excellent restaurants and interesting shops. The room is a little cramped but is comfortable and cosy. The shower was great although it leaked slightly. Breakfast was fantastic with excellent range of continental or cooked.

Loved this our stay at the Blanford! Small but nicely appointed rooms. Great location. Cute neighborhood and walking distance from many great shops, restaurants and Hyde Park.

Everything was very clean. Great shower, really powerful & plenty of hot water. Nice toiletries from The White Company. Hairdryer was missing from my room but was promptly supplied when reception was alerted. Breakfast is buffet style, lots of attentive staff refreshing the buffet. I have stayed before and recommended this hotel to others.

Hotel ideally located in Marylebone, right next to Baker Street Tube, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance, Regents park just up the rad, Hotel itself very welcoming and breakfast was awesome!
