Hotel is stunning I stayed in Cristal suite was spectacular bed was massive, staff were very friendly and informative If there was one negative it would be the food in the Bistro I order the Poussin Basquaise which had very little meat on the bones and sauce tasted like a tin of tomatoes had been waterer down no seasoning, my breakfast in the morning had black pudding that was burnt on one side I couldn't even cut through it. I will stay again but may eat out next time.

Good hotel with great views of the bridges over the Tyne. Helpful staff and good food in the restaurant, but breakfast well below par. Poached eggs were hard and bacon over cooked. Extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Considering the price paid I would expect the room to be spotless, which it was far from. The overall cleanliness of the bedroom was poor. The handrail in the upstairs bathroom was covered in dust and obviously hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. You could also see hand marks in the dust on the girders, and the pipes in the downstairs bathroom were water stained ( again hadn’t been cleaned for a while). The mirrors were also smeared, smudged and the frames were again dusty. Overall not what I would expect from a 4-star boutique hotel.

Great location. Limited Parking @ £15 p/n Breakfast @£23 per person we felt was is extortionate, so we declined. Aside that, would recommend for ease of access to Quayside, Ouseburn etc.

Lovely hotel , staff very friendly room had everything we needed and tastefully decorated . Breakfast great and freshly cooked on order. Would have been nice touch to have had complimentary biscuits with our tea and coffee supply in our room like other hotel chains but apart from that we had a wonderful stay and will return.
