Booked for our 10th Anniversary and we were upgraded to the Oasis suite, and had the best time ever. Buffet Breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly and greeted us every morning. The lounge bar served bar snacks and meal from 12 till 8pm and we really decided that other than walking around Bournemouth gardens and some shopping we didn't leave the hotel all weekend That in itself is testimony to how good our stay was.

i felt comfortable and safe as visiting alone for break , room view brilliant all good except curtains did not draw , leisure suite very good .meals good like self service very good range of food . staff very helpful . amazing gardens .. i will return to stay again.

Right on the beach, lovely hotel refurbished to a high standard, and very helpful staff all round, including in the leisure suite. Also received a complimentary upgrade after inadvertently booking a room with no windows - thank you.

Great location and breakfast! Room small and quiet, and clean enough. But overall... Hotel very worn and needs an update and clean. No teaspoon in room. Had to plug kettle in on bedside table. No decaffeinated coffee. Tiny TV. Poor signage to rooms. Staff mainly uninterested and unwelcoming. Room was down precarious set of stairs, in basement. View of walls. No air con. No parking (unless paid £30 for valet parking). If you want to swim it's £5 extra.

I chose this hotel because I assumed it would be old fashioned and full of character. So it turned out to be. It is very conveniently located. Inside is very comfortable if a little tired in places. The chairs are buttoned leather and the clientele at the time I stayed were in their golden years. Our room was very spacious but oddly shaped. It all added to the charm. Recommended.

AVOID… If you are booking this for a celebration, then please don’t, it’ll ruin your day because the photos are NOT an accurate representation of the rooms that are incredibly rundown, dirty, and dark. Please save yourself and find somewhere better, I made the mistake and it ended in tears.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Parking costs £25 per day, which I found very expensive for guests staying at the hotel. The swimming pool also requires an extra charge of £5 per adult and £3 per child, which should really be included in the stay. In addition, children are only allowed to use the pool until 6 pm, which is quite restrictive for families. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The quality of the food was very poor and there was very little variety. Overall, I do not feel the hotel offers good value for money and I would not stay here again.

Our room looked out to sea it was on the third floor with good views the furnishings were dated but the decor was clean the bathroom was dated and was in a rather poor condition the public areas were clean the bar area was large with an opulent feel of a bygone time but the disappointing thing for us was the our lift was broken and we were not informed of this at reception

We loved our stay here and we are planning to come back, we loved using the spa facilities but have to say, during our stay on 26/27 May, the guy closing the pool wasn’t really attentive as the guys that were in the morning, he was in a rush to close the pool and didn’t stop kids from jumping in the pool with elderly and people with back problems around, it didn’t feel relaxing but a mayhem, we do understand it was school holiday and bank holiday, but the guys in the morning were giving warnings as the swimming states not to jump in, but he didn’t care at all. Felt a bit unfair to who wanted to relax there

The building was lovely, but we were on the lower ground and there was a wall obstructing our view out of the window. The room was very basic with no colour or decoration and seemed like it was put together at the last minute. We felt because we had booked via a deal we were given the very basic. Won't return

We visited over the May Heatwave, the Hotel is very central to the town centre and beach. We had booked a small double room, but due to the weather conditions they kindly upgraded us & said we would be more comfortable in a more airer room, which was very kind of them. Breakfast was nice, it got quite busy round the breakfast bar, so could have been a little bigger. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I go back to Bournemouth.

Property is in very old and damaged condition, you can hear the floor squeaks from everywhere, bar menu very poor, dinner even poorer, breakfast very dried and not fresh. My room wasn’t cleaned at all the, not even the bin emptied or fresh towels. Cleanliness wasn’t good. Everything inside and outside is old and rusty, besides the location this hotel has nothing good. Staff in the leisure centre bit rude
