Sachi Hotel

I am extremely disappointed with this hotel I booked a room for two nights at your hotel. After finishing work on the first evening, I arrived expecting a clean, comfortable room. Instead, I was greeted by a room that had an unpleasant smell. I decided to have a shower, hoping to relax after a long day, but what happened next was completely unacceptable. As soon as I turned on the shower, black, foul-smelling sludge came up through the plughole, along with hair and other debris. The shower began to flood, and I initially cleaned away the first lot myself, hoping it was a one-off. However, when I turned the shower back on, even more black sludge and waste came through the drain, leaving approximately two inches of filthy water sitting in the shower tray. How can you reasonably expect a paying guest to stand in contaminated water and use those facilities? The room was clearly not cleaned, inspected, or maintained properly before my arrival. I immediately reported the issue on line that evening and sent both photos and videos showing exactly what had happened and the person that replied agreed that the condition of the room was unacceptable and told me that I would receive a full refund. Given the state of the room, I had no choice but to leave and find alternative accommodation at my own expense. I was certainly not prepared to stay in a room with unhygienic bathroom. Now they won’t give me a full refund do not stay here

Good for the price

The room was at the top and should have been made clear in advert that it was a hot box room on the top floor. There was no wifi. Fan didn't work. It stunk of cigarettes and the shower gad to pressure. Barely enough pressure to rinse off soap.

If it wasn't for the extremely poor check in and lack of support, my review would have been much more positive. The rooms were relatively clean, but the fact, that you can pick pay at property and the property is unmanned and they send you a message half an hour before your check in time that if you don't pay immediately you will lose your reservation ruined our experience. We were meant to have a relaxing day in Brighton, instead I got so stressed out it took me ages to calm down. We waited half hr for the message to be read on Hotels to no avail and then spent half hr trying to get in contact with someone to send me the payment link, which was not provided. I was prepared to actually pay at property, not to get stressed about links. At least once I have provided a confirmation of payment, the person I was on phone for 20 mins from the hotel, provided me check in details swiftly.

Room was ok but shower unusable Starts off freezing then scolding no matter what way you turn the knob. Not good when you’ve been working hard all day

Arrived at hotel to have no keys in box for my room. No en-suite, toilet and shower were on the next landing down from the room. Lino placed over a big dip in the floor of toilet, Shower room next door to toilet didn’t heat up so had to have a cold shower, and the holder for the shower kept falling down.

The location was fantastic but the check-in process was complicated. The instructions to enter the property were incomplete. You had to hold your hand over the handle for the numbers to appear before you could put a code in.

Do not stay here. No reception. Just a house with rooms and locks on door. Door boarded on outside. Room smelt really bad. Windows don't close properly. Cheap, thin mattress. Burn mark on sheet.

Really poor hotel. Stayed one night (thankfully)after a wedding so didn't spend too much time at the hotel. Cost £90 for single room. The soap provided in the sink in my room was a carex bottle filled with water i.e watered down soap. When I arrived I realised that the private bathroom meant that I had to go downstairs to a separate shower and separate toilet, both with different keys that weren't clearly labelled. Not ideal in the middle of the night. I think this should be made incredibly clear in the reservation how far the toilet is from the room. The shower was disgusting and not the shower pictured in the booking. There was no soap in the separate toilet to wash hands. Post stay was called up by one person for feedback, and text again for feedback from another person. I explained the situation to both around hygiene and inaccurate listing. One offered me 5 percent discount on a future stay and another 15 percent discount on a future stay (bizarre to be offered two different rates) I asked for compensation as I would never stay there again. This was denied.

I was supposed to get book in details by WhatsApp before 3pm Friday they didn't come. Eventually someone appeared at 3.15 in the lobby if you could call it that. A window in the inside front door had been broken and was never replaced. Got to the room it was supposed to be a double. Fair enough it had double bed and just enough room to walk around it. The bathroom stunk on stale water. Would I stay here again? NO

I had stayed at this hotel before and there are many positives. The location is excellent, both for the seafront and the city centre. As before my room was clean and comfortable. Amenities in the room were adequate and in line with my expectations for a budget hotel. However, despite the hotel fulfilling most requirements for my stay, on this occasion there were some issues that were disappointing: I had booked a room with it’s own bathroom but was allocated a room with shared facilities, there was no hot water in the afternoon when I arrived although this was available the following morning, and it was not easy to control the temperature of the water for the shower in the shared bathroom. These points resulted in a lower rating for my stay this time. Despite the issues highlighted which may be isolated, and based on my previous stay not necessarily reflective of a typical guest experience, I still feel the hotel offers good value for a short stay in Brighton and would likely still book again.

Stayed one night for the Brighton marathon. Good location.

Shop was very near. Beach was near.

The hotel is disgusting and dose not really exists when I arrived there l could not believe what I saw was totally understandable and it should not be a load to advertise on any site I was lucky enough to find another hotel just a few yards down the road and thay accommodated me at cost of £80 which I was so grateful so l am out of pocket by £32 which l paid you when I made the booking

I would defo book stay there again. Only thing missing was an ironing board..

Great location

The room was basic, but it was clean, tidy, comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication from the staff was excellent. About a 2 minute walk from the pier.

Bedbug infestation caused us to leave at 11:00pm with nowhere to go. Expedia did not offer to help find an alternate. Still waiting for the promised refund, but we ended up abandoning our visit to see our daughter and drive home in the early hours. Absolutely shocking.
