Lovely hotel , beautiful room, very clean. nice tea, coffee and biscuit selection and locally made mugs nice touch Enjoyed the pool , luckily remembered my own flip flops to walk across there. Only tiny detail is wear n tear on paintwork in bathroom but imagine this is on winter job list Complimentary drink for our anniversary was a really lovely and appreciated gesture Definitely will be back

The hotel looks lovely, but my room lacked the same character. It was also very cold in my room at night and I couldn’t sleep because of this. This was partly due to the window being left open before I arrived at 20:00 and the radiator not being on.

It's a gorgeous hotel with essential oils diffusing as you walk in and fresh iced tea. The walk around the hotel to our room was just gorgeous with a boating theme. The stairs to get to our room were quite narrow so carrying a suitcase up them was slightly difficult but it was manageable, if you were staying for a week im not sure you'd make it up the stairs. We had a cosy double which was perfect however, the bathroom definitely needed an upgrade, the water pressure was not the best in the tap or shower

Our room was a little disappointing this time, enamel bath with a few chips, one day no housekeeping. Need to do something about the milk supplied as there isn’t a fridge, so milk curdled in heat and therefore not useable anyway. Think it’s about time a very small fridge is put in all rooms, there was room for one. Staff are really great, especially Fred at breakfast, went above and beyond the service we expected😀

The hotel itself was great, food was great. We had an issue where we had no working lights in our room of an evening and were given no solution. Duty manager has offered a refund but as of today, no one has contacted me despite me calling and emailing daily since checking out on 14/07/2025.
