Entrance via noisy bar/restaurant but quiet in the room, which was comfortable but too hot. Excellent location just outside the cathedral close. Good breakfast selection, nicely cooked, but served on cold plates.

It is an old hotel (antique in fact giving it’s been operating for 800 years), so no wall are straight, floors are uneven, hallways are narrow, and there is no elevator. But the conditions are ell kept, and the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again

The rooms are old but quite charming and the amenities in the room were the same you'd expect at any hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was fantastic. We also sat down in their restaurant for dinner and I can honestly say it was one of the best we had all around England!
