Very friendly easy check in, nice pub, rooms clean but very dated but very reasonably priced and was very busy

Really good overall. Breakfast was also out fact and good. For the money I paid it was decent.

Nice pub hotel for quick stop over. Well coated with numerous pubs/restaurants close by and a large Asda for other bits. Pub was busy night I stayed but noise wasn’t too bad. Friendly people and a good atmosphere. Will use again.

My staying this time was so amazing. Everything was on point. Cleanliness was perfect. Breakfast, superb. So comfortable and quiet. Nothing to complain this time. Well done Oakland!!!!

Basic hotel experience but everything was good. Room was clean and tidy, good sized TV that worked well. Bathroom was clean, shower was a nice temperature. Breakfast cooked to order was lovely, again just the basics of a full English but all nicely cooked.

My room didn't have a fan in it. However, my friends did and they said they'd run out of fans. Housekeeping was annoying and kept banging on the doors, I left my fire stick there yet housekeeping claimed it wasn't there

Lot of dining options around but was noisy at night due to the pub in the ground floor.

Well situated hotel for shops,cafes, buses & trains. Cean hotel, friendly staff, good sized comfortable bedroom . Very reasonably priced.

As usual... good honest hotel. I Have stayed i would estimate between 20-30 times in last 3 years and always good value for money

Stayed on Saturday night ! Yes it was noisy but enjoyable ! Breakfast was super !

Dated but very clean room and pretty comfortable and airy. Convenient location. We were at a seminar which started at 8.30am, so sadly missed out on the included breakfast and no option for anything else like a packed lunch. All in all, decent value for money

A great place to stay if you are in the area. I'm there for business and it suits me fine. Comfy bed. Good shower. Clean. Really friendly staff. Great value band a cracking breakfast.

Staff friendly room ok however dirty and bedding was torn. Room overlooked what appeared to be a late night 'massage: parlour at twenty to ten on a Sunday eve we could observe a male having massage should we have chosen not to close the curtains. Brekky was good though.

Very central and close to many eating places . Hardly any hotel parking , but luckily found somewhere nearby . It’s barely a 2 star hotel. , and really does need money spent on it . However the restaurant staff had a lovely welcoming manner , and the breakfast was great.

A hidden gem. Our room had been recently refurbished and had a comfy bed, decent tv, and a squeaky clean bathroom. The room is spacious and has new carpeting. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was freshly made to order and excellent. Great value. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. It’s obvious that the owners take pride in their business. Oh yes, and there’s a pub attached for a nice cold one after a long days travel.
