Even though there was a problem with our food order it was quickly resolved. Overall the food was excellent

Staff were lovely. Very attentive. Room nicely decorated. Bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Take the hand sanitiser bottle away as the spout is very dirty. The smell of air freshener in the room and bleach in the bathroom is overwhelming. The bathroom didn’t have a nice smell once the bleach smell wore off. Not a toilet smell but something else. I even felt it was coming into the room by morning. Hopefully it was just this room and you can get to the bottom of it. I enjoyed my evening meal. The restaurant is nicely decorated

Lovely hotel friendly helpful staff

Friendly place with helpful and friendly staff. Almost charged me a lot more with a bill mix-up, but that felt like a 'lack of training' issue on the computer system. Breakfast was good, didn't have dinner.

Amazing place. Stayed overnight - room was lovely and loved the little touch of the Otter doorstop. Nice selection of tea with proper milk in the fridge. And the food was just amazing

Accommodation was excellent, had lunch was excellent,had evening meal was excellent and had breakfast which was also excellent, would like to say well done to the kitchen and especially to the 2 young waitress for a fantastic service .

The food was amazing, good quality, very good portions and value for money, the room was nice.

As soon as we walked in to the reception smiles and a warm welcome. Absolutely first class service and the food / drinks selection from evening meal to breakfast was absolute quality. Just cannot praise this place enough. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our one night, visiting friends in the area, so did not need a dinner. This property is well cared for, and staff care about their work making our stay a pleasure. A good breakfast, and nice coffee. Recommended.

I stayed here on my way back from Scotland and so glad I did nice quiet location great service and my room was very clean and comfortable. I ate in the restaurants and the food and break was brilliant. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stop here again.

Warm welcome from the member of staff on duty, good-sized room with very comfy bed and an excellent en suite bathroom. Own n’espresso coffee machine provided, plus complimentary bottled water and fresh milk for hot drinks. Evening meal in the pub below was very tasty and the scrambled eggs I had at breakfast were possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. The only downside was the lack of heating in my room until 6pm on a day when the outside temp was below freezing and I had checked in at about 4.30pm (ie after dark). Other than that, a good find and happy to recommend.
