Room was very clean, very tastefully decorated and I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and cetainly set me up for the day - would definitely use again.

A diamond of a country pub with rooms in a quiet village location. On site parking. Lovey well appointed modern rooms, comfy bed, good amenities. Staff are friendly, the food is excellent with a great menu choice and variety of drinks. Well worth checking out to stay or even just for dining.

Second time I’ve stayed here and it’s fantastic great clean accommodation staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying there again in

Cannot praise this establishment highly enough. Food Staff ( especially Emily and Lisa) Drinks Facilities Parking ambiance and atmosphere absolutely stunning. Well done Tom for creating and running such a wonderful place !!

The room was lovely and clean. Nice touch to have a coffee machine with pods. Still and sparkling water in the mini fridge. And a couple of packets of biscuit. The food in the evening was really good and the breakfast was amazing.

Last min booking for a night away to have a meal and a few drinks room was clean comfy and spacious with everything you needed staff were really accommodating and very friendly food was lovely and a great breakfast will definitely stay again

A lovely place to stay in a quiet, pretty village surrounded by lovely countryside. The staff were excellent and so friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated to a high standard. I appreciated the fridge with cold bottles of water and fresh milk. The breakfast was substantial and tasty (I loved the vine tomatoes). I would definitely recommend The Sally to friends.

An oasis when walking the Hadrian way. Rather over-priced but the standard of food and comfort make it palatable.
What was really noticeable was the friendliness of the staff. From the girls who served us dinner to the lady on breakfast, they had a smile on their face and that makes all the difference.
