12 blokes on a stag do so we wanted to have a central hotel at a reasonable cost which is exactly what we got at this hotel. It was clean and the towels changed daily. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but as a value for money option on cup final (and public march) day in London it was a great value option. Very pleased

Nice hotel in a great area next to kings cross. Room was clean, good shower. Room slightly on the small side but thats just london, was functional and bed comfortable. Perfect base for exploring. Would stay again.

If all you need is a bed for a night, this is ok. The room barely had space to walk around the bed and the en-suite was tiny with enough room to turn around on the spot from the toilet to the shower. Everything was clean, toiletries, nice fluffy towels and tea/coffee making facilities provided. It was only a few minutes walk fr King’s Cross. Overall, enough for the one night stay.

The location was excellent, but the room and bathroom were cramped with very little space to get around. The corridors were very narrow, which is probably not uncommon for an older London building, but it creates very close proximity between the entry doors of the rooms and the noise travels a lot. The female reception desk staff member was helpful and kind, but the male reception desk staff member was rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful when it came to basic logistics of check in and check out, because of this, I would not stay here in the future.

It was terribly hot, the hotel had no ac and could not offer any space fan. When I requested if there was a fan available for our room the receptionist gave me a look like was crazy to ask and said no (while she sat at the desk with a space fan blowing on her). It was a great location right down the street from Kings Cross and pancras stations but we were super relieved to only be there for one night.

I chose to book a room at this $150-per-night hotel because I was traveling alone and would be spending only about 12 hours in the hotel. It was a terrible, very bad, no good 12 hours. The passages are extremely narrow and dimly lit. (I could barely fit my standard, rolling suitcase through the hallway.) Those tiny hallways prepared me for the incredibly tiny room. I knew the room would be small per the photos, but there is not enough room for even two people to pass by each other. The bathroom sink is about the size of a cereal bowl; the shower stall is smaller than many cruise ship showers. The worst issue of all, though, was the lack of ventilation. I visited on a very hot day in London, so I was prepared for the room to be unpleasantly warm. I estimate the temperature was at least 80 or 85°F in the room, and there was absolutely no ventilation whatsoever. (I have slept in the Caribbean without air-conditioning and got a better night’s sleep because, at least, there was moving air.) Not at this hotel on the first floor, at least. I requested a fan, and a couple of hours later, the manager brought me a tower fan unit that moved the air a little. I still had to get up four times in the night in order to take a shower to cool off and get back in bed. The convenient location—just a block from Saint Pancras train station— is the only real attribute this hotel offers. I do not recommend.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The room was extremely small for two average-sized adults. We are not large people, yet there was barely enough space to move. Everything was crammed together, making the room feel very claustrophobic. We stayed for four nights during a heat wave. The room had no air conditioning, only a small fan that was dusty and didn't work at first. When we asked for a replacement, the staff simply said they could "clean it a little" and told us we were lucky to have a fan. No alternative, or cold water or just tap water was offered. Because of the heat, we had to keep the windows open, but that meant waking up early every morning because the curtains didn't block the sunlight. We barely slept during our entire stay. The customer service was unacceptable. One male staff member, around his 50s and bald, was consistently rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in empathy. This wasn't a cultural difference—it was simply poor customer service. Our room was on the second floor, accessible only by very narrow, steep stairs. We asked for help with our luggage, but no one was willing to assist. The carpet was dirty, and even the luggage storage room was neglected—the door didn't close properly.The only positive is the location near the train station. Otherwise, this hotel is severely overpriced. If you're traveling with an older adult or anyone with mobility issues, avoid this place.

Very close to St Pancras/Kings Cross. Spotlessly clean bathroom. Bed comfortable. Pillows need bit attention but overall comfortable enough. Carpets could do with attention. Room (single) small but all that you really need. Not cheap but at just over £100 per night good value in that price range. Would though suggest more realistic price £65-£85 guest wise but appreciate London and prices cost/high.
