Wardonia Hotel Kings Cross

Very poor. Major building work in progress with scaffolding across the window

Really good location for the price, it can get a bit loud during the weekend but thats expected given the central location.

Fine for a quick stopover but tiny room with no air con or amenities

Conveniently located hotel with lovely staff. The room was nice and clean, small but I was aware of this in advance so it was no issue as a single guest, however the price was quite steep given the size, even with the location in mind. The only issues I had was the bed, while comfortable was EXTREMELY creaky (another nod to the steep cost here) and I kept waking myself up in the night from the noise it made as I turned in my sleep. The radiator is also very dusty, I coughed a bit in the night but unsure if that is related, but it would be great if that was given a little love to match the rest of the clean room! Good size bathroom, and they had both a soft and firm pillow for use, in addition to a little TV and reading light. The window also opens nice and wide which was great to cool the room in this heat! (Though given the cost of the hotel a little AC upgrade would not go amiss) Super easy to check in and check out, and overall was a smooth stay

Adequate room for the price.

12 blokes on a stag do so we wanted to have a central hotel at a reasonable cost which is exactly what we got at this hotel. It was clean and the towels changed daily. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but as a value for money option on cup final (and public march) day in London it was a great value option. Very pleased

Clean, convenient to underground and mainline stations. Friendly helpful staff.

Only reason gets one star is due to location, very well situated for St Pancras and King's Cross. Other than that no other good points. Appreciate Georgian building so difficult to do anything about room size, however everything is extremely basic, bed not comfortable for couple, carpets felt grimy so never removed socks. No USB points. Bathroom had awful smell and some form of beetle ran across the floor. We did not feel comfortable using the shower the next morning. Only stayed one night but even with location would never return. Very expensive for an uncomfortable stay.

Our room was very small but adequate. No elevator or air conditioning. Nice to be able to open the window.

Room is ok and surprisingly quiet eventho its just across st pancras intl. station. Basic amenities but good enought for a 2 night stay in the city. Close to central station, restaurants and walkable to attractions

Nice hotel in a great area next to kings cross. Room was clean, good shower. Room slightly on the small side but thats just london, was functional and bed comfortable. Perfect base for exploring. Would stay again.

Stayed here as we had a very early train to catch so from a convenience point of view it was spot on. You get what you pay for, room was incredibly small with a tiny bathroom and the bed desperately needed a new mattress as it was caving in. However the hotel was clean, staff were polite and friendly. We probably would stay again if we were using the Eurostar but it certainly wouldn't be for more than one night.

One friendly and helpful front desk manager and one grumpy unfriendly desk manager. The room was great -quiet at night as there is a traffic restriction close to Kings Cross station

Rooms were very clean, but not in the best shape. Bare bones service but good access to Kings Cross St. Pancras and Euston Station.

The location was great just up the road from King’s Cross St Pancras station shops near by also room clean and tidy although towels could have been bigger for the shower as the one’s provide were small. Easy check in and out no issues would definitely use again

This was a very simple and small room that met our needs for our stay in London. It is very close to the international train station and in a nice walking neighborhood.

No lifts to third floor. TV broken in room. Staff gave me another room. But clean, and bed comfortable. Quiet.
