Wardonia Hotel Kings Cross

Appreciate the adaptor to charge my device and the kettle for teas and coffees. Place is small but has all i needed to spend few nights there. There is a fan in the room but it can get hot. With opened window, temperature is comfortable but can be a bit noisy if people talk down the street in front of the hotel. Good location for transportation or walk around.

Op een steenworp afstand van St Pancras en King's Cross. Het is een eenvoudig hotel met kleine kamers en zonder lift. Maar de douche werkt goed en het bed is fijn.

Really good location for the price, it can get a bit loud during the weekend but thats expected given the central location.

Conveniently located hotel with lovely staff. The room was nice and clean, small but I was aware of this in advance so it was no issue as a single guest, however the price was quite steep given the size, even with the location in mind. The only issues I had was the bed, while comfortable was EXTREMELY creaky (another nod to the steep cost here) and I kept waking myself up in the night from the noise it made as I turned in my sleep. The radiator is also very dusty, I coughed a bit in the night but unsure if that is related, but it would be great if that was given a little love to match the rest of the clean room! Good size bathroom, and they had both a soft and firm pillow for use, in addition to a little TV and reading light. The window also opens nice and wide which was great to cool the room in this heat! (Though given the cost of the hotel a little AC upgrade would not go amiss) Super easy to check in and check out, and overall was a smooth stay

Je suis une cliente habituelle de Hotels.com et je n’ai jamais vécu une expérience aussi choquante. Ce séjour a été un véritable traumatisme pour moi, au point d’en pleurer. Dès notre arrivée, le personnel s’est montré froid, nonchalant et très peu accueillant. Le monsieur à la réception fumait à proximité alors que je souffre de problèmes respiratoires, ce qui m’a fortement incommodée. La chambre était dans un état inacceptable : * forte odeur d’humidité ; * draps qui sentaient mauvais ; * matelas extrêmement inconfortable ; * lit beaucoup trop petit (une place et demie au lieu d’un vrai lit deux places) ; * eau de la douche brûlante, au point que je me suis ébouillantée ; * douche remplie de moisissures et qui ne se fermait pas correctement, provoquant une fuite d’eau importante ; * fenêtre très difficile à ouvrir et quasiment impossible à fermer seule ; * une des lampes de chevet ne fonctionnait pas. De plus, la rampe dans le couloir était cassée. Ma fille s’est appuyée dessus pour descendre et elle est tombée, ce qui est extrêmement grave en matière de sécurité. J’ai signalé ces problèmes plusieurs fois à la réception. On m’a répondu qu’une personne viendrait voir la situation, mais personne n’est jamais venu malgré deux relances. Lors de ma dernière demande, le monsieur de la réception m’a parlé de manière agressive et

12 blokes on a stag do so we wanted to have a central hotel at a reasonable cost which is exactly what we got at this hotel. It was clean and the towels changed daily. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but as a value for money option on cup final (and public march) day in London it was a great value option. Very pleased

Chambre propre

Good location

Only reason gets one star is due to location, very well situated for St Pancras and King's Cross. Other than that no other good points. Appreciate Georgian building so difficult to do anything about room size, however everything is extremely basic, bed not comfortable for couple, carpets felt grimy so never removed socks. No USB points. Bathroom had awful smell and some form of beetle ran across the floor. We did not feel comfortable using the shower the next morning. Only stayed one night but even with location would never return. Very expensive for an uncomfortable stay.
