lively quarter in the marais - close to metro and many Paris attractions - helpful staff (we got into our room 2 hours early) - continental breakfast a bit expensive, but great croissants! only drawback = no elevator, and our room was on the 4th floor! - only window was a skylight

Great location with multiple shops, restaurants and transport options nearby. The room was clean, well maintained and a decent size by Paris standards. The one huge drawback is the lack of a lift, and a long, winding staircase and uneven stairs even to the first floor. For an older person like me, ascending or descending with a suitcase would have been, frankly, dangerous. On the plus side the staff were sympathetic and able to help so no harm was done but, on the assumption they can’t install a lift, the lack of one should b highlighted right up front with an explicit warning.

It says there is free breakfast however there isn't. There is no elevator. VERY loud. Don't plan to get sleep. They don't provide towels unless you ask. Hallway lights are out in some areas.
