Truly enjoyed the character and ambiance of this boutique hotel. The location was awesome with quick access to all modes of transportation. The hotel was surrounded by countless cafes, bistros and restaurants for dining. A short stroll down the Champs d’lysse and you find lots of shopping and more dining opportunities. The staff was great. They put up with my broken French as I tried to immerse myself in our visit to Paris. We will definitely return here on our next visit to Paris.

We had such a lovely time at Hotel Splendid Etoile. The staff were all so amazing, the hotel and views were breathtaking. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a great experience.

Perfect location with beautiful views. The metro stop Charles de Gaulle-Etoile is literally accessible in front of the hotel (Which is Sortie (exit) 5-Avenue Carnot when you return to the hotel) and you can access metro Line 1, 2, 6, & RER train A. I stayed in the Arc Suite alone with my 13-year-old daughter. It was magical. We felt very safe walking everywhere & using the metro and Ubers for further destinations. The staff was lovely. We did not utilize the breakfast, but I was happy to have a Nespresso machine in the room for coffee before heading out.

Overall, it was very good hotel. The staff speaks English well. However, the housekeeping wasn’t organized enough. I had to ask the toothpaste and toothbrush to the receptionist. It wasn’t prepared in the bathroom. Also housekeeper didn’t clean the cup that I used a day before.

Clean big rooms. Quiet and great location We asked staff for a restaurant recommendation on the first night and it was awful. Kind of got a feeling that they gave the recommendation as a favour to the restaurant Also, one night I came home after dinner in a taxi. The driver said he did not accept my card. Said cash only. I went into the reception for help and explained the situation to see if they can come help me talk to the driver. They were basically picking on me as a tourist. The reception staff just shrugged their shoulders and basically said it wasn't their problem. I had to go out and resolve the problem myself Would have been good if they had my back. But this was not the case

I was checked in by Illona. I did not realize till I got to my room that she failed to return my passport. I went downstairs to ask for it and she couldn't find it. The bellhop was actually the one that found it and returned it to me. I told Illona that she should have called me when she realized she didn't return it, to which she reponded by laughing. I really don't think it's a laughing matter for someone to lose their passport. It was extremely RUDE of her to react in that manner. My interactions with the bellhop were very pleasant and he apologized for the mishap.
