The hotel staff was friendly. The location was great. The only downside was the lack of an iron. When I tried to borrow one, I was told it was broken and that there would be a laundry charge for ironing.

The location is on the main road and easy to find. Parking is plentiful, and even though it seems crowded, it's still easy to find parking. The hotel is getting older, but the rooms are still neat and clean. The pool is a bit shabby, so I didn't end up swimming. Overall, it's okay, good value for a hotel in this class.

The hotel is vintage, but not bad. The AC wasn't cold (it was old). It was repaired, but it still wasn't cold. Luckily, it was cold in Dago, so the cool outside air helped.

Our second stay here has always been comfortable, safe, and peaceful, and the kids absolutely loved it. We left behind a piece of clothing, and the customer service was very responsive. We were able to send it via a package, and we paid for the shipping ourselves. The only downside was that we didn't get a free birthday cake, even though we actually got one.

Amidst the onslaught of modern hotels, this one does have a very vintage feel. I'd suggest keeping the lights on a bit dim to avoid the overpowering spooky vibe. For kids, rather than paying extra for breakfast, it's better to just buy it outside, as the menu is pretty basic. Overall, it's pretty good.
