Hotel Becher

Room Was fine, but very very outdated. The whole place just needs a refresher, including peeling mattresses. Staff was cordial and breakfast was fine.

Emplacement de choix : près du centre historique, mais dans une calle typique et calme. On s’y sent rapidement comme à la maison. Accueil amical d’Éléna. Séjour inoubliable dans la sérésinissme .

The room was great. I booked a triple and was delighted to get a connecting room both with their own bathroom. Staff were fabulous. Breakfast was wonderful. Location was close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff excellent .Hotel Reception exceptional .Room a bit tired and Bathroom screen for shower poor leading to flooding of Bathroom and hence peeling paint on bathroom door and woodwork.Shower needs to be replanned.Which is a shame as Cannel view for Junior Suite Exceptional.Breakfast not really up to standard and breakfast room to small for all guests to sit.However despite this would still recommend as Staff more than make up for interesting facilities and location Excellent.

The hotel was in a great location, they staff were amazing, the reception man was super helpful, the only downside was there was a strong Air Freshener that our room smelt of constantly that was so strong,

A acomodação é muito charmosa e perto dos pontos principais de Veneza. Fui muito bem atendida pela Helena. Toda a equipe me auxiliou com todas as dúvidas que eu tive. A cama é confortável e o quarto com vista para o canal tornou minha estadia ainda melhor. Recomendo e retornarei quando estiver em Veneza novamente.

Great hotel, great location, lovely staff

Marco was very helpful and welcoming! He offered me a glass of prosecco or glass of juice (My choice) he make sure the last night of my stay I had transportation to the airport in the morning! The room was very pretty and accommodating! I love free breakfast everyday of my stay! Overall very happy and promising to go back!

Location, breakfast and staff were all great!

Excelent place in Venice, close to San Marco Plaza, easy access to transportation. The front desk young lady, Francesca, is a great asset. Decent breakfast, many places to eat and shop around.

Staff is incredible and helpful - hotel is beautiful and great breakfast. Can’t wait to come back!

We cannot say enough good things about Hotel Becher. The staff are extraordinary and so helpful. We left yesterday for another hotel and already greatly regret our decision. We will be back to Hotel Becher, no doubt ♥️

Stayed there over 10 years ago and would continue to go back. Location and staff are an A+. My only disappointment was the mattresses are very firm for this old man. Still if we ever make it back to Venice, it will be at the Hotel Becher.

The hotel is older and the furniture reminded me of my childhood bedroom set. I could open my window and basically look the gondolier in the eyes, which was kinda cool. At night though boats came and went pretty late and people were yelling and singing so it was a little loud. Once I got to sleep though it quieted down and I slept well. The bed was REALLY HARD. The location was in the middle of everything, restaurants and shopping everywhere, 5-10 minutes walk to everything. Breakfast was plentiful and you got as many made-to-order coffees as you could drink, which was nice. The breakfast room was quite small, but it did make for good conversation with other diners. The staff was top notch and helped with your every need and spoke very good English. There's a 24 hour desk, and that make it nice too. They arranged a pick up from right next to the train station by boat to the dock of the hotel so we didn't have to drag our bags across the cobbled streets and over bridges hoping we were going the right direction (google maps looses reception between buildings sometimes). They also arranged a boat to take us to the airport at 4 AM and both rides were timely...not cheap but VERY convenient. It was a very nice stay. The people were great and communicated well throughout the trip, thank you!
