Smart Hotel Milano

Great location, just 3 minute walk to the train station. The room was very clean and the air conditioning was working just right in the middle of the heat wave. I just stayed one night and had to leave very early to catch a train, but I plan to stay here again.

Good, only issue was the shower changing constantly from hot to cold. Staff was great! Air conditioning awesome

The hotel is very close to the train station and restaurants are around the corner. AC was great during summer heat. We stayed on lower floor, unfortunately , the bathroom had a very very bad smell coming out from the drains.. staff poured chemical and try to help it but it doesn’t work. And we ends up needs to continue to pour water and cover the drain to try to minimize the sewer smell. Tried to request to change room but they were fully booked.

Only stayed at the hotel for the night but was very convenient for the main train station in Milan. We were able to check in early and the hotel room was very clean and cold, which was amazing considering how hot it was !

Great stay for a night near the train station and conveniently located. Rooms are clean and the staff were super helpful. Best air conditioning for a super hot day in Milan. This is the second time I stay and I’m sure I’ll be back.

There was a bright green light in the room that I couldn't turn off and it prevented me from sleeping well. also the light from the room phone was bright and so I needed to unplug that just to be able to sleep as well. the shower was strange and the water poured out of the showerstall into the main bathroom and was threatening to flow into the room. a lower drain would help to prevent flooding. I had to set up towels to dam the water flow. otherwise the room was ok. the quality of the food at breakfast was not very good. it would have been better and cheaper to go to the McDonalds around the corner. the eggs especially were overcooked and rubbery.

The air conditioning worked great close to the station. The room is very black, not a fan. But it was clean and worked for a stop over. Did not have the breakfast. Just had a weird vibe

Some young girls at the front desk did not seem to understand privacy and discretion. I asked the women at the front desk not to announce my room number loudly as there was a large male sitting in the lobby chair listening to all transactions at the front desk. They must have been there for free internet however, as a solo female traveler, I like to keep my room number private. The girl failed to understand and announced loudly you will be in Room ....despite my request to not announce it. Second of all, the first floor room curtains do not close all the way. The window glass has a dark tint so when you look outside, it seems like the weather is gloomy when it's actually bright outside.

Very close to the train terminal and access to transport. Close dining places as well. It was clean and friendly but a bit noisy from other guests

Like many other reviews previously, I found that this hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but the overall quality feels closer to a 2-star hotel. The only good thing is location. The bathroom design is particularly poor and impractical. After showering, water floods the entire bathroom area. The bathroom lighting is controlled by a motion sensor, which can be very dangerous. During a shower, the lights had switched off automatically because the sensor mainly detects movement near the sink area rather than in the shower. This creates a safety risk, especially on a wet and slippery bathroom floor. Soundproofing is also poor, as noise from outside and neighboring rooms can be easily heard. Shockingly, complimentary bottled drinking water was not provided, which is something I would normally expect from a 4-star hotel. Overall, the facilities and service did not meet the standard of a 4-star property, yet guests are still required to pay the corresponding city tax based on the 4-star rate. The experience was disappointing and did not offer good value for the price paid.

Great place to stay while in Milan, conveniently located only about 5 minutes walking from the train station. Fast and easy check in process. Room was great for a short stay and provided all the necessities. Great location and only minutes away from public transportation and provided easy access to get around the city,

The staff were welcoming. Room was nice and clean and well kept no complaints at all! The location is brilliant as there are multiple entries to the metro as well as the central train station. And loads of places to eat surrounding the hotel too!
