The hotel room was nice and comfortable! The room itself was small, but accomplished all I needed as a place to come back and rest in before heading out for the day! The surrounding area of Ueno was also lively and had a lot to offer!

Process for handling luggage storage between reservations was a joke. Relied on chat box to handle the request. Proposed that stored luggage would have to be picked up prior to me 2nd reservation check in at this hotel???? Hmmmm. Ai logic failed!!!!

The room was small, but this is expected for a room in Tokyo at this price. The bummer about this place is the air conditioning. It is central and in March it is set for heat. Therefore, the room was very warm and stuffy. I was able to crack open the window and that cooled the room down. The water pressure is amazing. One of the best showers I have ever taken. The outdoor soa area on the top floor is also really nice. I would only ask that they address the air-conditioning situation. One last positive note, the location is outstanding. There is a fantastic yakitori place on the corner. Ueno is a great place to stay when visiting Tokyo.

I liked this hotel location very much. The room was small but manageable. The community bath was very welcome. I wish it was open all day instead of being closed for a portion of the day. Overall, happy with this hotel.

Caution, the heat cannot be turn off. In room temp can reach 26-28 even in January. Otherwise, everything are good.
