Superb breakfast and dinner. Really fine establishment. Bilingual staff made the stay all much better. Beautiful room with in room onsen. Fabulous location, right by Lake Ashie with the boat and cable car excursions. Terrific in every way.

Really beautiful facility overlooking Lake Ashie. A two minute walk from the hotel to the Archie Lake boat excursion,and the cable car excursion, which is definitely not to be missed. . But the best part is extremely helpful staff throughout the facility, who are fluent in English, very pleasant. I go out of their way to be helpful. Definitely a very nice place very nice place to stay. We would definitely come back again.

The only minor drawback is that the room feels a bit tight for four people, as it’s originally designed for two—adding two futons required removing the coffee table to create space. That said, everything else the property offers more than makes up for it, to the point where the room size hardly mattered. Even our room overlooked the stunning Lake Ashi, making the stay all the more special. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

The Air conditioner was not working and I spent a significant portion of the time working with the staff to get it fixed. They were unable to fix it and had to provide some extra portable coolers to address this situation. Also, not vegetarian friendly dinner or buffet.

Rooms: amazing lake view Staff: went above and beyond for every little request Hotel: gorgeous lobby, foot bath outside lobby overlooking the lake. Easy to book private onsens which were impeccably kept and really nice for a family gathering Food: the staff went above and beyond, helping fix a very quick vegetarian dinner for the vegetarians in my family. The spread was amazing and huge. Same for breakfast. Rooms: very clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended stay - wish we stayed longer here!

This is our third trip to this hotel. What I noticed was it was more crowded. Instead of an easy access to go to breakfast or dinner , there is a QR code to make breakfast and dinner reservations. It was difficult for me since the QR code was not in English and ai had problems using this format. We didn't try the onsen , but decided on getting a room with an outdoor hot tub. Also when we were leaving, I sent the luggage by QR code only with the help of the reception staff. It should make things easier, but I beg to differ. This hotel has become a little too popular, more people than I would like. The food at the buffet remains the same. Nothing spectacular.
