Airport shuttle was key in selecting. Unfortunately the service was unavailable upon arrival at all terminals. Next morning was available but the shuttle departed 7 minutes earlier than advertised schedule leaving myself and 2 other patrons behind.

Airport shuttle information should be sent to the guests by email so that the guests will know the schedule. In addtion, the roberts do not work well as human receptionists. For example, we do not know where to drop off the room cards when we left in the early morning.

Air conditioning was good in our room. Apart from the gimic of the front counter the hotel is meh. Im sure the theme rooms are cool and we enjoyed our cinema room but it was tiny. We said we had 4 people, 2 adults and 3 and 1 year old and it was VERY cramped. The amenities were fine. Breakfast was meh, we thought it was included, ours wasn't and we paid regardless. Wish I hadn't, it wasn't worth it. It has free luggage storage which was helpful but the shuttle only runs til 11 and then starts again at 7. We would have needed it at 3pm which was unhelpful. Area is quiet and easy to navigate

The hotel itself is impressive, and the reception area is genuinely beautiful. Rooms are a good size for Tokyo standards and noticeably more spacious than APA hotels. Unfortunately, our experience with the airport shuttle and staff support was very poor. We arrived at reception at 5:30am for the 5:45am shuttle, only to be told it was already full. The next available shuttle was not until 6:45am, which would have made us miss our flight. There was no meaningful assistance offered to help resolve the situation, such as arranging alternative transport or offering any form of support. Communication was also very difficult due to limited English, which made it hard to understand what options we had. When we asked for help, the response felt dismissive and unhelpful, and we were left to sort out our own transport. We ended up paying £20 for a very short Uber ride to the airport, with no support from the hotel despite the shuttle being advertised as a key amenity. We also left unsure what time we should have arrived in order to actually secure a seat on the shuttle, as this was not explained clearly in advance. Overall, while the hotel facilities themselves are strong, the lack of effective communication and support during an urgent travel situation significantly impacted our experience and caused unnecessary stress.

Overall very good stay and would recommend. Close to a family mart and train station. Beds were firm and bathroom could use a deep clean. Overall the room and hotel were great.

I guess I didn't realize I was walking into a Dinosaur Robot check in situation. Amusing but not helpful. It was not obvious from the booking details that there would be NO humans on the property. As a first time traveler to Tokyo I would have preferred some human assistance. The location was good from the HND airport - A couple train stops and a well lit, safe and easy walk to the hotel. It was clean and safe and the lockers were nice to have. The rooms were clean and efficient and they had 3/4 bathtubs that I enjoyed! I guess I would have just like to have know up front that it was all AUTOMATED because Then would have made a different choice know I prefer a human touch. Still was able to check in and get a room key from a machine and it all worked. So if Robots and Automation and zero contact are your thing THIS IS YOUR PLACE:)
