Hotel Granvia Osaka

The staff at the Executive Lounge is extremely helpful. They welcome you every time you get off the elevator, help with JR Station directions, and check you out at the end of your stay. Surprisingly the lounge is never crowded. Hous red keeping is very attentive.

Super convenient location near Osaka station. Clean rooms, friendly and welcoming staff. Very efficient check in and check out. As the guest rooms only start at floor 19 of the building, there are some lovely views.

Typically big city hotel. Close to everything by subway, train or underground walkways.

Excellent location & the staff were very helpful. Recommend this hotel v much. Loads of shopping & restaurants around. If I come again to Osaka, Wl definitely cm back here. Only hitch was d room was small. Other than that everything else was v good

Staff good, reliable housekeeping, hot shower, but slightly dated. Stayed here years back and nothing has changed. Surprising a hotel of this size and cost has no gym. Couldn’t ask for a better location being right above Osaka but at this price, I’d consider Hilton or others nearby too.

Beautiful Property in the heart of Osaka. However, we struggled navigating to find the hotel from the Umeda station to the hotel. Our directions were unclear and a few tears were shed navigating the stations surrounding. This is a user error, than the hotels fault.

If you are first time staying at this hotel, it can be very confusing to get to when taking public transport. As Osaka station is extremely huge place, it can take a while to find this hotel.

Buffet breakfast catered to all

グランヴィアラウンジがとても残念でした。4泊したが、毎日変化なくほぼ同じ。種類も量も少ない。 朝は食べるものがなく、遅めの時間はパンすらなくなっていた。朝8時からでは遅い、7時にはパン位だして欲しい。 午後も種類は少なくが毎日同じものしかない。 夜は酒の種類もつまみも少なくがっかりした。 グランヴィア京都と比較して、量、質ともに雲泥の差でひどかった。

The bathroom had a smell, but went away. There were some mold looking around sink & tub. It might have been something else

Exc location. Beautiful lobby, bar - but rooms disappointing. Really need a makeover - small, but space not used well, just dingy.

Didn't have breakfast or food at the hotel. Staff were all very polite. Only had 2 nights there so never got our room serviced. A very comfortable room.

The Granvia Osaka was a very clean and well maintained facility. However, there appears to be a lack of maintenance especially in the bathrooms. Mold around the bathtub and sink.

We paid sgd 500+ for a night stay . 2 packets of 330ml drinking water were provided, with a note saying that additional packet is chargeable. Meh. The noise insulation is not good, we can hear foot steps and also pick up quite a bit of noise. However, when we complained to the reception about the room beside, they were quick to resolved it. The rooms were quite dated , robes and everything does look old. honestly preferred hankyu hotel to this. Location is really convenient but I don’t think I will pay extra for this convenience again

I had to book this hotel suddenly at night due to a flight issue, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. When I made the reservation through Hotels.com, I clearly entered 2 adults and 2 children (ages 13 and 14) and even paid extra for breakfast for everyone. However, at check-in, the hotel staff insisted that children over 12 years old must pay as adults for breakfast, so I was forced to pay an additional 9,200 yen. I had already paid 111,731 yen for the room in advance, and if I had known I would be charged extra like this upon arrival at 1:30 a.m., I would have chosen a better 5-star hotel instead of this old one that only has a good location. The breakfast was definitely not worth 4,200 yen per person — convenience store food nearby would have been much better. The hotel is connected to Osaka Station, which might be convenient during the day, but it was a nightmare at night. I arrived after midnight, and all the entrances and stairs around the station were closed. It took me over 30 minutes wandering around to finally find the hotel lobby. Even though I sent a message in advance saying what time I would arrive, the hotel never replied or offered any check-in guidance. If you plan to come back late at night, this place could actually be quite inconvenient. The location is good during the day, but the facilities are very old. For the price I paid, there are many better options in Umeda. I would never stay here again.

Great location, very close to osaka station which has lots of eating and shopping options. Had use of the club lounge and also got the breakfast with the room. Amazing breakfast buffet!

Well cared for, lots of options for eating in close proximity but bathrooms are typically small.

Loved our stay, a great position to enjoy Osaka!
