I have visited this property four times since 2012. The hotel is beautifully nestled in the forest and lit up with pin lights, the rooms are lovely and spacious and come with a deep plunge bath. It is convenient to walk to the slopes, on the main shuttle service and one can walk to surrounding restaurants, bars and ski rentals.
But what stands this hotel apart is the impeccable service from the amazing staff.
During ski season they lay out your warm ski/boarding boots at the door, and they help you get transportation to the lifts. At the end of the day they greet you at the door with a smile, take your wet gear and swap back your warm personal shoes. There is a lovely lobby for an apre glass of wine and a fireplace for roasting marshmallows. They help you find reservations to dinner and help you sort transportation to and from. I travel globally for work and leisure, from the smiles to the can-do, and truly helping guest I have found rare a team that could exceed in provincially my an amazing experience. So hotel I give top marks, and for the hotel staff, double that. 👍👏🙏

The breakfast is a 5 course meal or buffet- highly recommend. They have a free shuttle service which saves you so much $ on taxis.

I stayed here couple weeks ago, I like the environment and comfort and quiet place, the manager and staff are great and friendly, that’s the reason why I came back. The manager upgrade me to a room with Jaguzzi.
Sadly is the air conditional is abit old , doesn’t cool up the room quick, but it still fine. The hotels room definitely needs a proper upgrade as there is many wear and tear and air conditional need an overhaul too. Wallpaper has to be clean as you can see some stains.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us to book two dinners, three private ski lessons as well as pick up and drop off for ski runs for the nearby Happo-One ski area. They also helped to arrange for pick up from and to the Hakuba-Happo bus station.

We were so impressed with the fabulous French- inspired multi course dinners; beautifully presented and super delicious! What an incredible value. Would highly recommend! Stayed four nights to ski the various areas of Hakuba Valley. First, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! For example, when I arrived and as I was parking my car, a staff member came out to greet me. And each morning I skied Happo One, a staff member drove me to the ski area and then picked me up when I called in the early afternoon. This allowed me to boot up in the hotel lobby, saving me much time. Staff also offered to help with ski rentals and lift passes. The daily breakfast (set menu) was also nice. And one evening I ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. I was hoping for Japanese food, but the set menu was comprised of delicious French food. I should have asked more questions about the dinner menu before I made my dinner booking, but again the dinner and service were very nice. The hotel itself is showing its age—worn carpets in the hallways, tired-looking furniture, scuffs on the walls. But the room was spacious and the bed and pillows comfortable. The hotel is secluded, and I couldn’t find any places to eat within walking distance, so guests will have to eat dinner in the hotel’s restaurant or drive somewhere. Overall, I had a nice, relaxing stay.

Awesome hotel with fantastic service. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. Very helpful with arranging snowboarding gear rental, lift tickets and evening dinner reservations. I would recommend this hotel above all others. Breakfast was amazing as well.
