Minn Kanazawa

Three adults shared a modern two room apartment. All futon beds but the second room was lovely, with tatami flooring a screen walls. A tasty breakfast was included. There was a washer-dryer in the room, but the dryer function was not great and we ended up hanging clothes over the dehumidifier. Full aircon was much appreciated with the humid weather. Handy to Kanazawa castle and gardens as well as an easy walk to the local market. Less than 20 min walk to both Higashi Chaya Geisha and Nagamachi Samurai districts, as well as the train station. Plenty of konbini options nearby too.

Really nice spacious room, more like a small apartment. Great location, walking distance to everything you’d want to do in Kanazawa.

Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was included but there is no menu. Just sit down at an available table and they bring you a small but sufficient breakfast sandwich.

Spotless rooms. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Walking distance to historic sites, right by the amazing fish market and several hole-in-the-wall top-flight restaurants in the alleys in behind. Great value for the money and a spacious room comparatively.

Exceptional service and great hotel in a handy location

The Minn Kanazawa on a main street close to buses but also walkable to many attractions and restaurants. The room was large and comfortable and nicely decorated. The amenities were not as prolific as some other places but available when asked for. The basics such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash were included and seemed of very good quality. There was an atmosphere of non wastefulness. Instead of a buffet breakfast, there was breakfast made fresh for you. Fresh towels, cleaning and bedding were available upon request. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s nearby major tourist spots. Staff are welcoming and helpful. If you are fine with basic amenities and nothing fancy of a hotel, Minn Kanazawa is recommended.

Great spot! Walking distance to the park which was the highlight of Kanazawa. Parking is available, just have to square the block. Have the front desk put the location as a pin in your google maps. Easier to follow than the paper map they give you. We’re a family of 4 and room was big enough for all of us and our luggage.

It was very comfortable and clean. The best part was it was right next to a lot of shopping. We had a blast checking out the area

The room was bigger and more modern than I expected. I felt this hotel was good value for the money. It is close to the attractions we wanted to see.

Not for the technically challenged. Obviously designed for the younger crowd. The room was ok except the window did not open. The hotel was clean with lots of hot water. Beds were comfortable but close to the floor.

The room was a great size, quiet, clean and met all of our requirements. Location was central and either a short walk or short bus ride to all attractions and places to eat. The staff were very helpful, especially when we needed assistance with parking arrangements. Would happily recommend and definitely stay again.

We had a connecting room for us and our teenage kids which was great. Gave us some space and each room had its own bathroom. Modern amenities. Good location. Washer/dryer in building was handy. No view but it was okay. Would stay again.

Easy walking distance to castle / major tourist attractions, loop bus (right loop) stops right outside the door.
