I'd never stayed in the Chow Kit area before, but based on app reviews, I decided to choose the Hilton Garden Inn South initially because it was close to my conference venue. I unexpectedly found a bonus: it's close to the Chow Kit LRT; it's easy to find the Hop-on-Hop-off ticket counter; Bukit Nanas is just a short walk to the Twin Towers. Starting in the afternoon, there's a traditional market selling a variety of vegetables. I bought the lalapan (vegetables) I'd been missing (because I hadn't eaten them in a long time): petai (stems), jengkol (jengkol), and other vegetables. Then I bought pecel lele (lele pecel) on the street, bought a wrapped nasi padang (Padang rice), and enjoyed durian for dessert. Yummi. This hotel offers all the access without having to travel far for culinary delights. I'd definitely return with my family and recommend this hotel to friends if I had no other preferences. One more thing: the staff are Indonesian, and they're very pleasant. Thanks, Raphael, for your help.

Comfy bed and clean bathroom: my top priorities when it comes to hostel and this place has it. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom also separated by gender so it's nice. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Since our room was free, we got the chance to check in a few hours earlier, which was great. The location of the hotel was also great as it was close to large malls, making it a convenient place to stay when on a short trip in KL. The room was clean and provided all the needed amenities. Overall, it was a very comfortable place to stay and my family and I would definitely revisit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur to celebrate our anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Special thanks to Ms. May for her kindness and attentiveness — offering ginger tea and cookies when my wife wasn’t feeling well. Also, thank you to Mr. Sam for being so helpful during our stay, and to the chef at Gobo Chit Chat who thoughtfully surprised us with frozen rendang — such a heartfelt gesture. The room was clean, the view was amazing, and the anniversary room decoration was beautifully done. Highly recommended for anyone looking for warm hospitality and a memorable stay in KL!

The Alfa Bangsar by City Keys

Alfa Bangsar by Citykeys is in the same building as Holiday Inn. Check-in is very easy, just go to the apartment lobby. Spacious room. There is a big TV, washing machine, refrigerator, stove, and cutlery. All are very clean. Wi-Fi speed up to 200 Mbps. The distance to the LRT is also close, about 8 minutes walk. Car parking is also free.
