Bsea Cancun Plaza Hotel

The hotel is in a wonderful location with an ocean view and a pool; everything was great, the staff was very friendly and excellent. The only thing that needs updating is the bathrooms, as they were very old.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I booked 4 nights but left after the first night because staying there felt unsafe and unhealthy. The first problem was the access to the room. The staircase was so narrow that my baby’s stroller could not fit through it. Every time we needed to go upstairs, we had to completely fold the stroller. Even worse, there was no door at the top of the stairs. The room entrance was at the bottom, leaving the staircase open and creating a serious safety risk for my one-year-old daughter. One moment of distraction could have resulted in a terrible accident. The room was in terrible condition. The wooden ceiling and the curtains were covered with thick dust, making it obvious that proper cleaning had not been done for a long time. Shortly after arriving, both my daughter and I started sneezing. The fan had broken blades and was also covered in dust. The air conditioner barely worked and took an incredibly long time to cool the room. The microwave was completely unusable. I tried several times to heat food for my daughter, but it simply did not work. It was also heavily rusted. I took plenty of photos showing all these problems. The next morning I informed the front desk that I could not continue my stay. Even though I had paid for four nights, I gave up the remaining three because I refused to risk my family’s health and safety. The hotel refused to offer any refund. This property is poorly maintained, unsafe for families.

everything was fine i would say their was a lack of communication with the staff besides that the pool was clean, the hotel in general was clean and the views were good.

This is one of the worst places to stay, Staff at front desk were worthless didn’t know how to handle basic things. Someone entered one of my rooms and left a mess I complained and all they said was that no one had a key but me Which is not true housekeeping and maintenance also have keys But looking around no one needed a key Because door look like it had been broken into and they done nothing.. Another one of my rooms battery stop working to read card and all they said was I had to wait 24 hours until maintenance could get to it I was lock out of the room I paid for, FOR a whole 24 hrs.. no let me get you a new room no nothing Please if you can afford it go somewhere else….

Great character of the building. Amazing staff who was extremely accommodating when our unit’s a/c stopped working. Great staff and the most helpful tour specialists on the property.

Clean room

Front desk lady could be nicer .. other guys were very friendly and helpful. Security guys at the front gate had attitude. Restaurant staff was okay. Funny thing is they all expect American standard tip (20%, included in your bill !) but their service deserves 10/15%. 2 male servers from Argentina were very friendly and nice. Omar was moody and had attitude, but of course he was sure to add 20% tip to your bill anyways -was thanks ! Food was pretty good and affordable. Hi

I stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a good experience, mostly because of the beautiful location and the amazing ocean view. I would wake up around 6 AM and could see the staff already working hard — cleaning the pool area, watering plants, and maintaining the property. I really appreciated how much effort the staff put into keeping the grounds maintained. The hotel itself is definitely older and somewhat worn out. The hallways and common areas were technically clean, but you could still notice marks on the walls, signs of age, and small maintenance issues here and there. It feels more like a condo complex than a traditional hotel, since some of the units seem privately owned and not all are hotel rooms. My room was a good size and had a large balcony with a stunning ocean view. The bed linens were clean, the mini fridge worked well, and there was a full set of dishes for four people including plates, bowls, cups, and glasses. I did not use the TV. The air conditioner worked well during my stay. The bathroom had some of the issues mentioned in other reviews. There is no ventilation, so you really need to leave the bathroom door open so it can dry properly and avoid smells. The toilet also flushes poorly — you have to hold the button down to make sure everything goes through completely. Hot water was usually available, although sometimes late in the evening it was less reliable.

Great place to stay! Easy access to the beach.

Old but clean. Nice pool and beach. Beds and pillows very firm. WiFi was very inconsistent. Never could get it to work in my room. Providing complimentary bottled water would be great. Good to have mini-mart on grounds. They are very serious about no smoking on grounds. Don’t think I will stay there again.

Room was clean and functional. They upgraded me to a room with an amazing view. Staff was nice and helpful. Kitchenette had no coffee maker or coffee mugs. Overall facility was worn. Nice pool area. Overall, good but not great.

Bar needs to offer more selection.
