Our stay at Hotel de Loosier was adequate. The location was convenient; the staff was quite friendly and helpful; however, it seemed rather expensive for what it was.

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The room is rather basic, just a conveniently located spot to sleep. We had a couple complaints: first, the soap bottles had a squeeze-to-dispense mechanism, which is difficult to operate for folks with arthritis like me. Second, the light in the bathroom was motion sensing and couldn’t be manually turned on, so there were multiple incidents where the light would turn off while one of our group was on the toilet or in the shower, and we would have to either stand or have someone on the outside open and close the bathroom door because neither the shower nor the toilet were in range of the motion sensor (despite being no more than 5 feet away). Lastly, the shower was rather slippery, which was a hazard because there were multiple older individuals in our group.

A bug on the wall — size of a chia seed >> bed bug?!? Room seemed clean but bathroom smelled and hand soap smelled/felt like dish detergent. The staff was kind.
